The game is on my birthday too, so come on Latics.
I’m definitely the Newcastle United of this thread. Fookin useless.
Even Newcastle broke their duck this week. Come on mate match nine could be you’re week.
Don’t forget we also have “Garswood – nul points”
Sure im not the only one feeling apprehensive about this whole thing. A local businessman who has guided this fine ship through rough waters for so many years being replaced by some dodgy gets from Hong Kong who have no affiliation with the club. Seems an odd piece of business from their perspective. Doesnt make sense as to why we would be such an attractive acquisition. Our gates mean at this level we will always struggle without serious investment and with our most valuable asset set to leave in a few months the whole scenario appears bizarre. It’s not rocket science.
Buying an established Premier League team would be expensive, but we are comparatively cheap (if you look at the purchase documents you will see that there was even a knock-down in the value of the assets because of the relegation to League One and consequent loss of TV money). So we are cheap, but we have a pedigree of being in the Premier League and the FA Cup win raised our profile. With a fair wind it’s not impossible for us get back in the PL in the foreseeable future, and that would really boost the asset value.
It’s a no-brainer actually. We are a far better prospect than Rotherham or Brentford.I hope he shows his face and carries on supporting us.He’s booked on Arky’s to Middlesbrough I hear
Also states he will be staying in football its his job wonder which club or could it be non league or a league club interesting comment

Which is interesting when he criticised agents when he took the job.
To be fair I think he was criticising how some agents go about their business, rather than criticising agents per se.

The Totally Wicked Stadium has a nice ring to Egg.You know that’s St Helens’ stadium’s name?
My tennis coach, A Sheffield U fan said he thought that Wigan were one of the best teams to visit Hillsborough this season.Pssst – I think you mean Bramall Lane ;)
The Broken Leg Arena
find it disgusting if a new owner should come in and think that way.
They have given him full support, so why are you stirring things?
You are disgusted by things that are purely in your own imagination.
That’s how the Daily Fail works.Only their second season back in Championship.Well let’s see how we do in our second season back
Allocated seating by ticket is policed quite easily at many grounds ….How many Latics away games have you been to recently?
if our home form dips
Or alternatively maybe our away form will improve ….
Glass half full, or half empty?
I’m afraid that I have always said about other clubs when they have a string of injuries that it is probably something in the training regime that has caused it, or at least increased the risk.
Can’t even blame the yellow kit
