Of course he needs to be watching Liverpool because they are totally unknown in the world of football. He should have been there to analyse if this Gerrard bloke is any good.
Maybe one day you’ll be able to watch teams like Liverpool in the cinema and get a few clues about how they play.
Sheesh! The day when our manager HAS to be watching Liverpool live before we play them to learn about any chinks in their armour is the day when madness has set in.
Are you arguing about us arguing about songs?? ;)
So you’re saying that 59% of tax revenue is being paid by the top earning 10% of the population.
Are you really sure about that?
What’s your source?
Victor Moses song was annoying because (besides its constant repetition) he was on the bench.
There then is a Di Santo song – when he was still on the bench.
What does that say to the players on the pitch?
Similarly, certainly give Jason Roberts a round of applause to acknowledge his role in the past (perhaps even to make a point to Chimbonda who deserved all the abuse he got), but to be singing “his” song – again what does that say to our current players?

I agree with you by the way.
No real surprise there to be honest.
If you asked me rationally who was favourite in betting terms, then it has to be Blackburn.
That doesn’t mean I can’t hope for, or indeed expect, a Latics win.
Found out that Thomas the Tank is running at Huddersfield day after west brom game, I think I’ll erm….. he’ll love it. :D
Thanks for the tips though guys, I think I might try to sneak in a Santa special as well

I went to the Thomas the Tank day at Rossendale, I think.
Beware, it’s a bit of a rip-off. Not much to see for plenty cost.
Why on earth would anyone want to go to that  :D
Maybe one day you’ll understand.
Trains don’t run out of steam when they’re ahead
the highest defeat was 4-0, no 5-0’s,6 ,8 or 9-1’s,
Might I also point out that we weren’t playing teams of the standard of competing for European trophies that season – or is that too simplistic :?:
If you’ve been going since the 60s you must be as old as me.
If so, for you to say “But the worst of all was Craven Cottage” means you must be showing early signs of losing your memory. “Worst of all”!!! What have you been watching over all that time.
As 1932 says – get a grip.
“Woe, woe, and thrice times woe”.
BTW Did you know there were only 16 episodes of Up Pompeii? Seemed an awful lot more!!! :?
As I remember there weren’t more people than seats, but it was allocated seats. We’re used to that now – but then it was a rarity, and Wiganers being Wiganers were saying “stuff this, I’m sitting here no matter what it says on my ticket”. Which meant of course there were some parts of the stand that had empty seats but the “better” bits were overflowing :D
My grandad’s at the back of that picture Donnolly :DTop Bloke
Didn’t know Fred was your grand-dad!
I used to steward the tunnel when he was sorting the kits and other stuff.
Really nice guy.
What easy tie did you all think we’d get?
Good God – talk about doom and gloom. If we’re going to win the thing we’re going to have to play, and beat, the likes of Arsenal and United.
Have some faith.
We were a bit further away than the Press :)

A good day out!
