No they can’t. A temporary transfer is for a fee and a set period:
“subject to any conditions imposed by the Board in the exercise of its discretion under Rule M.4.2, the minimum period of a Temporary Transfer shall be the period between 2 consecutive Transfer Windows and the period of a Temporary Transfer shall not extend beyond 30th June next after it was entered into;…”
The day I start to worry about what Carlisle fans think of us is the day I need to be put down
Probably better than the Poles we had
I’ve heard he starts to flag quite early on.
Good luck to him then looks an attractive place to live – far better than Wigan
Sunderland
Saturday
light rain shower

Sunday
heavy rain shower
High: 15°C

Monday
grey cloud
High: 15°C
Low: 9°CNot really bizarre – just, as you say Griff, greedy agent and greedy player.
I’d let him sit in the reserves for a while now. He obviously doesn’t want to play for us, and we were resigned to not having him.
Pour encourager les autres ;)
Completely with Griff on this one.
It’s one thing to speculate who may be in the team on Saturday. We can discuss whether X ot Y deserve a place, whether the Manager will change his mind abou tplayers or systems etc etc.
It’s however totally pointless to speculate how a random draw will work out.
If you want to do that, try the Lottery instead.
and he is scouse.wat a combinationHe’s actually from Leicester, but never let the truth get in the way of stereotyping, huh?
whelan out.all he wants to 2 do is bring in cheap players make a name 4 them selves and sell em 4 a good profit.he is business man and thats wat he does.martinez tell him 2 f off.Aha! Keep the tactical genius that Roberto is, and get rid of the guy with the money.
Sound plan :D
I don’t normally agree with Lawrenson, but he had it spot on on MOTD.
He said we have a team of individuals.
Each one is more than capable of holding their own in the Premier League. They are just not gelling as a team.
Bit of education coming here:
Did you know (and this is true by the way, not the start of a joke) that a bloke once tried to invent a glue but got it so badly wrong that it only held things briefly and then they fell off so he gave up.
Many years later someone else had the bright idea of using this semi-tacky glue, and invented Post-its.
Now to start with, I’m willing to bet that 90% of the people that either left or booed at ft, had stood and applauded at ht.
I don’t see your point.
If they play well they get applauded.
If they play badly they get booed.
If they do both in the same game they get both.
Up to now I’ve tried to support Roberto, but it is becoming harder and harder to do that.
He was an up and coming manager at Championship level, he’s had a go at Premier League, and clearly isn’t ready yet.
For his own sake he needs to consider whether this is doing his reputation any good. Within a few weeks there’ll be a vacancy at a Championship or League 1 club where he can continue to hone his skills. He should consider whether he would be better being in a place to apply for such a job.
and lack of support from the crowd
That’s nonsense – even at a goal down the crowd were getting behind the team today.
Can I say unequivocably (and to be honest that’s a hard thing to say) that I was NOT there.
Maybe this could be the start of a new trend. “True admissions of a JCL – well, watching for a good few years but I haven’t been around since 1932.”
I have also never been to Goole Town away, Netherfield at home, although I did once watch Runcorn (green and white stripes) play Ellesmere Port Town (orange shirts and sky-blue shorts) in a game that may have required Gok Kwan’s services.
