To be fair I think the original post subject has been worded wrongly. The point the guy is making is a valid one. If the club promises something then they should at least honour their promises. Otherwise dont promise anything ! Personally I think the dvd is sad and just gives rival fans more ammo to take the mick ! Its like the ” Twin Scarves ” you see lower league club fans wearing when they draw say Liverpool in the cup !! A mate of mine commented ” They will have a dvd out ” when we beat Chelsea and he wasnt far off the mark ! The old “top 4” league form reads Played 40 won 3 ! Nothing to shout about really, never mind bring out a dvd !Exactly. If they promise it, then keep the promise.

I’m with the original poster on this.
Yes – we have great deals.
Yes – the cost of STs is exceptional
No – we shouldn’t be demanding anything else.BUT the important thing is that the club offered it. We’re not saying “on top of the great price we want…”, the club said “on top of the great price we’re offering…”
I haven’t tested it out, but if it is true that they are reneging on those offers then that’s very bad form.
I have no intention of not buying a ST or suchlike – but I do think it’s poor practice. They have advertised something that they are not delivering.
And in relation to the lad who posted on another thread about the club not supporting his special school, I also have examples (which I won’t post on here) of extremely poor PR by the club.
example while walking down street i picked up a tenner as i fond it.
Surely it’s “I font it”?
No, Griff – you’re thinking of it[/ i]
Do I detect some tench-ion on here?
“Was a Bolton supporter..”
“Little team in the backyard of rugby league…”
Now gone to Nob End….
Carlsberg don’t do hate figures…….
Capello

BBC says Lib Dems have an influence on the Conservatives.
BBC says Jonathan Ross is worth millions.
BBC says we want to listen to the opinions of Alan Shearer and Alan Hansen.
:D
Instead of “Doo-doo-doo Pascal Chimbonda, doo-doo-doo Pascal Chimbonda”
what about… wait for it….“Bo-se-lli he comes from Argentina, Bo-se-lli he now lives in Kitt Green”.
You don’t actually look at that thread do you, Bob??
Doesn’t quite work as Argentina has 4 syllables. It does actually, as the Scharner song was “He comes from Austria” – “He’s from Argentina” (with the stress on the “gen”) fits perfectly.
he also stated that he would not go back to fulham to take any players from them as it would be morally wrong because of the good relationship he had enjoyed there.
Or maybe there’s none good enough? :?
He is officially listed on FIFA’s squad list as being at Wigan

Mind you, so is Stojkovic
those are my sentiments exactly griff
are you going to be donning your darth vader cloak shortly ?
Nope, not all. I have always claimed to be the voice of reason, neither dark nor light. Though admittedly my glass is more often full than empty, and I prefer to look for positives where possible.
I shall keep my Yoda suit on for now thank you very much, but will NOT be going out to buy my Boselli replica shirt.
I’m not going to buy my Boselli replica shirt either….. mainly because we don’t know what the shirt is yet :D
