The only time I’ve spent in his company was when we were promoted from Division 1 (I think), John Filan (great bloke) and a number of the winning team were in Walkabout and just us, I was fairly bladdered but everyone else was just having a laugh, Bullard kept looking at me like he was a scared little boy, certainly not the ultra confident person we see on tv, it was one of our lads who put Teale on youtube singing “Teale’ll tear you apart” while having a yellow water. Good night to remember.
Not getting into an argument about it but I don’t think there was just you and your lads in there that night.
I certainly was in there, with a number of others, and I remember the place being heaving with Latics supporters.
I like that one Sniper, I’m sure I’ll get a chance to try it tonight. :PA subtle addition to that is to confirm by asking them before you do that they aren’t allowed by their company to hang up on you – providing you’re not being abusive of course.
As you won’t be being abusive, just silent, then they shouldn’t hang up on you…. and they know that you know they shouldn’t hang up.
Simples.

White stuff? Lines?
He wasn’t having an affair with the groundsman??
Should try to get a big team like one of the Milan’s.. At home OR away…Wouldn’t mind a trip to Italy myself.
Not impossible – I saw Inter a few years back at Reebok in pre-season.
I know…remember them playing there myself..That’s main reason I thought it possible. Would be a good one too…but would prefer it to be at San siro as I haven’t been there and would like a reason to go on a trip to Italy.
I have been to the San Siro. :D
Absolutely stunning!
Not at all.
Out of 25 at least 8 must have been registered with an English or Welsh club for 3 years before their 21st birthday – no matter what their nationality.
Without looking too deeply at when they signed for whom, I can think off the top of my head of Kirkland, Bramble, Koumas, Cywka, Pollitt, Watson, Scotland, Moses, Sinclair, Boyce, Kupisz, McManaman who could probably qualify in our current squad. You only need to make sure there’s a few youngsters in the squad and unless you’re Arsenal there’s nothing to worry about.
Actually my memories of Jimmy Bullard are of me yelling at him to pass it forward not sideways, to sigh in exasperation at him failing to clear the first man with a corner, and to ask loudly why he has to take every free-kick when he couldn’t hit a barn door (Newcastle away excepted).
Actually, thinking about it, he’d fit in perfectly.
Good player – but not the demi-God that he is being made out to be. Being a “character” doesn’t make a star player – or what we need.

Maybe they read into the conspiracy theory that a lifelong West Ham fan missed a penalty that kept them in the top flight.
Wonder how much Dame Trevor paid him
He’s a much better player than I thought then if his deliberate penalty miss involved him slamming it against the post…!
I think it’s a lot harder to hit a post than to score a penalty.
If he was going to deliberately miss he’d have skied it.
Your not seriously gonna open champagne to ‘celebrate’ finishin near the bottom of the league?More an “Asda Cava” celebration I think ;)
3-0 now
Could be worse

Going early, supping on the coach, stopping off in a village on the way there and back will be a big miss.
We would normally go on a coach run by The globe pub, but due to free coaches, he isn’t taking one.
Obviously experienced, so what do you reckon? Grin and bear it or try the pop bottle trick? ;)Don’t try the pop bottle trick or whatever. If it’s found (a) you could be arrested, (b) the whole coach could be turned back, and (c) the coach company would be fined – which means that we wouldn’t have coaches for the future.
This mon you mean?
