Do you know I can actually see Bury getting a draw, and if we win that will be enough.
Good call George.[/quote]
If only I’d trusted my instinct with a bet :D

It’s great that nothing hinges on it at all, but it is a possibility.A quote from a Shrews message board:
“Strange day today I guess knowing that it is a dead rubber, you normally get into this mood when it’s the last game of the season and everything is done and dusted. It’s still four games out from the seasons end and then we go again with the play offs. So not really sure what to think about today…the calm before the storm perhaps. Time to take a deep breath before it all goes daft again come May. Hope we see one or two rested. Hope we don’t see any injuries or cards…”Isn’t it the case where you can’t receive a trophy on an opponents ground?United did at the DW
Not quite.
They didn’t refuse to come out, they didn’t turn up at the stadium.Couldn’t be worse :)
Wasn’t the idea anyway that the last jumper brought the match ball?
I agree. Funny though.
Can the club make a bit more of an announcement or signs that e-cigarettes are banned too?
The number of people puffing clouds of smelly smoke (or whatever it is) who seem not to know that it is banned.
There are no signs that say so – a small note at the foot of the back page of the programme doesn’t work.Morsy was MoM for me. Had one of his better games.
The only time that happened was last time we were in League One it was announced that no ticket would be more than £199 was it, no matter which division, as a reward for supporting through the season.
We have always been late announcing prices as since I can remember, at least back to about 2000, we have had doubts which league we would be in.Starts for Vaughan, Colclough, Perkins and Roberts I reckon. Possibly Bruce, but that wouldn’t be mty first choice. That’s ringing the changes but still effectively first teamers, as they all play a part regularly coming on as subs.
Oxford are apparently ringing far more changes.
They see no chance of winning against us, so are going to put their efforts into winning on Saturday.
Tomorrow is a “free hit” for them they say, and may field youngsters. As season ticket holders we have a great deal throughout the season.
But perhaps we should keep prices high for the final push for the Championship and have just 8,500 on? Maybe less, as Wimbledon won’t bring many.
Maybe we should limit season tickets next season to those as well? After all we don’t want any new blood coming watching us. They won’t even know how to moan properly.
It is quite likely that any new fans for the final game will not be glory hunters – they all have their sky-blue shirts neatly pressed for their Sundays in the pub. But they are likely to be people who may bring along a kid or two who’s never been to a game but who may just get hooked by the (hopeful) euphoria.
We are criticised enough for our crowds – how would it look to have a third full stadium for when we win the title?
Were you all OK with Forces or ex-Forces having two free tickets each last Saturday, by the way?“Carnival shit”?
A display by our forces, that may have delayed the start by a few minutes (if that were actually were the case) and would have affected both teams equally?
Do minutes’ applauses not also “delay the kick off”?
You have always portrayed yourself as a guardian of English values, and a huge supporter of the Forces.
Your comments are petty.Well done, chaps and chapesses.
