I would have pinched myself if we had drawn Huddersfield away ;)
Next round – doesn’t have to be in the same order.
Millwall still in there too !So in 2013 we won the Cup
In doing that we beat Bournemouth after a replay; we beat a David Moyes team; and we beat Man City.
Bring ’em on!In hindsight wouldnt it just have been better to have played and won the game when it should have been played rather than have the mid-season holiday. Not our choice whether the game is played or not
Can live with the Blackburn started at midday. But Portsmouth away on Easter Monday at 5.30pm… Not thinking of the fans there are they!
Its brilliant for me. I only live 45 minutes away
This means I can now go away with the family for the bank holiday weekend, bring everybody home & then shoot off to the game in no rush.
Plus I know someone that works for Portsmouth & will be on a freebie jeebie ticket!!!Not wanting to rub it in like!! ;) ;)
Tyldesley Nr Portsmouth :P
You’ll have an idea where to park then TL.. Any tips.
I’ve never parked there, but this site is always quite good

“DIRECTIONS AND CAR PARKING
Go along the M27 (ignoring the M275 turn off for Portsmouth town centre) and continue on to the A27. At the junction with the A2030 turn right towards Southsea/Fratton and just continue straight along the A2030 and eventually you will see the ground in front of you, just slightly to your left. There is a large car park behind the TY Europe Stand, but this is for home supporters only. So it is mostly street parking for away fans. The good news is that there are few parking restrictions in place close to the ground. So if you arrive early enough, you can park only a few minutes walk away. When I have visited, I have parked in one of the side streets, found on the right-hand side of the A2030 before you reach the Good Companion pub. Alternatively, Miltoncross School, which is a five minute walk from the ground offers parking at £6 per car. The school is located in Milton Road (post code PO3 6RB). Derek Hall adds; ‘There is also a very large car park (for a fiver) on the corner of Velder Avenue and Milton Road (a couple of minutes walk behind the away end)’. There is also the option of renting a private driveway near Fratton Park via YourParkingSpace.co.uk.
Post Code for SAT NAV: PO4 8RA”
The penalty may have been harsh but the camera was in the West Stand, straight on to the defender. From the East Stand his arm wasn’t so quite tightly in as the telephoto lens from the West made it seem, there was some daylight between the arm and his body, and although the TV image is a bit blurry at the moment of impact he was turning and his arm wasn’t hit by the ball but hit it.
Fine margins, and if it hadn’t been given I would have understood, but I don’t think it’s quite as bad a decision as made out. There was a case for a penalty. And we all know what happens when we draw city in the cupI have pointed out that we beat Bournemouth after a replay and comfortably beat a Moyes team.
Millwall and City anyone?3,000 tickets were available (highly unlikely that would sell out), but they say no pay on the day

If you look on West Ham boards like “Knees Up Mother Brown” there is no-one defending him, and most are calling for his sacking. They hate it as much as any reasonable football fan does.
It would be great for us and Paul Cook if we won at Pompey and that sealed our promotion. A bit of an early Easter for that in reality but we could be in the play offs by then which would be a great achievement on its own.
Something about Portsmouth FC that I just don’t like. Maybe it’s the going bust thing and leaving debts all over the South coast yet still coming up smelling of Roses thing. Or just the super fan image the media gives them, when in reality they’re just a huge city with a big drawing area with little competition for supporters.
Just love us to break our scoring record there. Can’t agree with you on this marrer have a soft spot for Pompey they are great fans and still play in a proper old fashioned stadium. It is one of them must do away trips.
I remember a very long coach trip back from there after being tonked 4-0 so the ground holds no joys for me, and that smelly oik with the bell supports them.
Nope. Don’t like um.Which bit of “a non-disclosure agreement has been signed between both parties” is everyone struggling with?
We will hear nothing until it’s all sorted. It’s like any business take-over.Weren’t the Inter-City Firm Hammers?
A real viscious lot they were. And I can’t imagine they personally don’t still go to Hammers games.
And wasn’t Green Street about West Ham.
I’ve always found them to be a nasty bunch.… or maybe he’s actually one of the Lifelong Fans that everyone’s been willy-waving about?
Maybe he really does just care about his local team?
I’m surprised the ST ticket holders have to pay. But I will. Could be a nice perk of buying a STGate receipts are split 50/50 with the opposition, so if we didn’t charge for ST holders we would still have to pay half the notional charge, so be out of pocket.
Bloody predictive txt.Sorted for you (assuming that’s what you meant it to be)
There are some of us that rejected Liverpool at the height of their fame and came and supported Latics though :)
And Latics have given us far far far more enjoyment than staying with Liverpool ever could have. Add in a son and grandson who genuinely are lifelong Wigan fans.
Am I a sort of reverse glory hunter? :DSeeing as Liverpool have won f*** all for years……………
That’s because I stopped supporting them :)
