Sale of all that land at Charnock Richard and Wrightington will push us on to a new era of hope and will subsidise our rise back to the top flight.
Well you can dream. If only we owned land at those places.
What do we actually own?

Where would we train?

There is an hell of a lot that goes on in football clubs that we don’t know or hear about.

Not if you read social media (including here), Donny.
It seems everyone knows someone who is happy to tell every secret in the club :P :P :P

Looks like West Brom have seen through him too.
As you say, someone who could have made a mark ….. but didn’t.

Luckily his one good day was for us at Wembley. Downhill since.

Not looking good is it i said give joyce a chance but now i fear for the clubs future
Only way forward is whelan familly to sell up and go

To be replaced by whom? Some Far-Eastern asset stripper?
Do you really think someone is going to come in, invest the millions and millions needed to buy success?
What is needed is a local rich person who has the good of the club and preservation of its future at heart.
Now where could we find a family like that?

Precisely.
it was the Summer window in which we got rid of players who had bonded well into a feelgood team who knew how to win, and replaced them with some very poor replacements.

Not Joyce’s fault. Blame the so-called players.

Why? He’s playing an attacking formation. It’s not his fault that Rotherham have taken a couple of chances, and that the linesman got an offside decision wrong.

Edit: And I know it’s now 3-0 but it still is the players on the pitch who are getting it wrong. What team selection would you have had then – with the great benefit of hindsight?

Has anyone managed to solve this yet?
I still can’t get to my seats, and I refuse to pay for a premium phonecall, an admin fee, and have to hope on the tickets being posted with all the staff being off over the holidays, when online I buy them whenever and print at home.
I’ve tried messaging the club, but not really getting anywhere.

Funny you should post now GL, I was just about to!

Just been on ticket website, absolutely no change…no progress at all.

Nothing on the website about how to claim our seats. Why should ST have to ring up when anyone else can go online and print off ticket at home, as you say?
The answer to that question is because you have the privilege of securing your own seat, even though they are on general sale.!

If you want your own seat that badly, get on the phone[ if you don’t have a mobile phone, I guess someone in your household will], or nip to the ground to claim your seat if you don’t want to pay the £2 booking fee.
If you are not that bothered about sitting in your season card seat, do what all non season ticket holders are doing and book online, its a simple as that.
Not really a thing to moan about, given the amount of time you have had to claim your seat and just a tenner at that.
Is that the official club position? There’s nothing on the website to confirm any instructions for ST holders
Yes, it is.
Source?

If it is the official position, I won’t be going on principle and would encourage other ST’ers to stay away as well. The attendance will be poor at best, so why make it difficult for us to claim our seats?
Whats so difficult about picking a phone up and dialing 0871 66 33 552? FFS Leyland tha making a song and dance about this, even with your booking fee itul just cost £12 for your fekin seat!

:P
0871 numbers are charged, so it’ll cost more than that. And with the holiday it won’t be certain they’ll get sent out.
As it is, I now have my tickets printed at home.

Good news!

Just tried again and it’s now working. Comes up on the main tickets screen as a reserved ticket.

Jamesc, can you confirm the source for your earlier assertion?

Great.
I’ll take some credit for it.
Been talking with the club this afternoon, and they seem to have sorted it.
They accepted that there was a problem – unlike some on here

Derby paper needs to fill column inches. Looks around what players may be within team’s budget and would suit. Focus on Yanic – today. Pure journalism.
It’ll be someone else tomorrow.
It’s how papers, in particular local papers, work. I certainly am not reading much into it.

Agree with all of that.

Also, I’ve heard exactly the same with regards to Pearce and Morsy.

Which should serve to shut up the “why did we get rid of Caldwell” brigade. But it won’t.
