The football magazine Shoot, football cards and Elton Welsby on the Friday night TV show Kick Off.
I like it looks continental, I wont be buying one though, I’d have to buy a girdle to go with it.
Truly heart breaking, RIP young man.
If you find yourself in Ramsbottom be sure to call in to the Irwell works brewery, but be careful you may find yourself enjoying the ale a bit to much and firing the Stranglers off.
Runners up for me, we should have enough quality for that,
Have we ever had a worse kit supplier than Krappa?. Even Matchwinner provided better looking kits.
Don’t shoot me, but I like the Kappa kits.
And when we were in Gran Canaria last month, a few people commented on how they liked the shirts my boys were wearing, and thought they were European teams at first – only to discover on closer inspection they were lowly old Wigan.
They are a European team kit, won’t be for much longer though! :woohoo:
I like the Kappa shirts also they have a more continental look to them.
There’s enough smart arses use this site, I’m sure one of them can set it up for you. Personally anything more than copying and posting and I’m stumped.
As soon as we kick the fat bar stewards out the better.
Can’t though can you? because it isnt your stadium unfortunately and unless you get back to the championship pronto, you had better get used to switching games for the Rugby ;)
If I’m being honest I was hoping Mutley would bite at that one.As soon as we kick the fat bar stewards out the better.
I cannot imagine the pain that must be felt when losing a child.
RIP little one.
They say you can tell how economically deprived an area is by the amount of kebab shops and beauty salons a town has.
Speaking of Glastonbury flags (which we weren’t)a couple of years back there was a Purple Acky flag in front of the stage.
20th of July seems a bit late in the day for all those wishing to take the new shirt on their hols.
Wear an old one, I’m sure people will suss out who you support! ;)
I don’t wear football shirts especially these new tight ones, they make me look too muscly.I remember a tale about bonding told to me by a Hindley fella called Bill Robinson, Well Bill was a good Rugby player in his day, played for Wigan and the GB national side.
Bill played in a test series against the Australians and in the first two tests GB were well and truly battered, the GB team just had no team spirit at all.
The evening before the third test, the team were gathered together told that the series was lost, each player was then given £5 and told to go out and enjoy themselves. As Bill said it was a lot of money in those days and so the squad set out for an evening around Wigan to do a bit of team bonding.
Come the day of the game the GB were all were nursing hangovers having over indulged but as Bill said they’d had the time of their lives.
In Bills words “we battered um, two of the Aussies were taken of before half time suffering from concussion, we were hungover but up for it”
It’s over 30 years ago I was told that tale, Bill is now probably long gone but I enjoyed listening to his tale. Anyway maybe a bit of bonding can do wonders.
