The Wakes in Hindley took some beating, on my only visit I went in the games room, there must of been 40 blokes in there drinking and all stopped talking turned around and stared at me and my mate as we walked in. The Slaughtered lamb had nowt on it, and the ale was shite!
I went for tickets on Thursday morning and was told the only tickets left were £42 tickets with severely restricted views and I thought you greedy f**king scouse tw*ts you can f**k off before I buy tickets at £42 with restricted view. Wa*kers! what planet do these pricks live on!
An aquarium does brighten up the plaice.
Not read it what’s it’s aboutA real ale drinking angler.
Nice to finally see Figueroa being given the opportunity at set-pieces; came very close yesterday (Friedel /wall well glad to keep out the way)[/quote]
Friedel may of kept out of the way but it took out 4 fans!
Tell the scouse tw*ts to f**k off!
The annoying thing about this (well to me anyway) is that even if we put out our best 11 for the game at Spurs, we’ll probably still lose. Therefore 0 points and even the possibility of a injury to one of our players. Why not rest our ‘star’ players for this and put out a strong team against Bradford to try and get a step closer to winning some silverware. Looking at the 2 fixtures, we’d probably more to gain from beating Bradford than a distant chance of getting anything at Spurs. I think Martinez owes some chance of glory to the supporters than just finishing outside the bottom 3 again.
Of course, if we do get anything from Spurs, I’ll have to eat my words.Tuck in sunshine!
I’ll give him 2 weeks!
Women should stick to sports they are naturally very good at, like curling they seem to excel at that, your average woman likes mopping and curling is just a progression of mopping, leave the football to the fellas.
Not the biggest fan of Americans but I think they are well ahead of us on this one…

I think I’d pay to watch that.
Reading this post I felt it’s gone off topic.
What do you mean not exactly Monte Carlo, you’ve not been to Crooke hall recently!
Very silly little boy.
If I was kirky I think I would of decked the little c**t!
the immigrant workers can make up to 10 times the money here than at home,
Ten times
Nonsense – particularly if you add the costs of living here to the money “sent home”
I was talking about wages in general, if memory serves me right and I wont google it the polish can expect 5 times the wage they could receive back home, And I was talking about immigration in general not the polish. But seeing as your talking about the Polish several months ago I was doing a job for a polish woman and I asked her did she like Wigan her reply was ” I like the money” I kid you not.
My post was not intended to be a dig at immigrant workers, fair play to them they are trying to improve their lot in life.
I cant remember the union leaders name but when asked about the workshy not willing to do the jobs immigrants would do he replied it’s because the pay is poor for the work that’s required. Pay a reasonable wage and you have no problem filling the vacancies, the immigrant workers can make up to 10 times the money here than at home, and this is the problem a British worker on national minimum wage is a poor wage, an immigrant on the same wage is earning a great wage, they don’t mind living in a cramped flat for 12 months knowing they’ll be going home with a good wedge.
Unfortunately the previous government seemed to be more than happy to let people waste away on benefits while importing cheap labour by the millions. The office of national statistics say if immigration is set to continue at its present rate we will touch 66 million in 2020, that will be a huge burden on resources and will effect us all.
You have to give credit when someone is willing to go overseas to find work, don’t think I fancy it, but then again if I can earn 5 or 10 times my current wage!
