Also think that with what i have heard on talk sport this week that Man U are in serious money troubles i know they owe about 500 million but how are they going to clear it and may become another Leeds, just wondering what anyone else thinks not that im bothered but maybe when we dont spend the money we think we should, that the reason is to keep the club afloat?
I hear the sound of a penny dropping….
And to back this up…… a very interesting article in the ‘Express’ yesterday.
Main points being: (yes I’ve cut and pasted)
“You cannot keep hocking your future. It’s like pawning the family silver. It has got to come home to roost,” said Morgan.
“Too many clubs are spending on meeting interest payments, on wages they cannot afford and on transfer fees which are unsustainable.
“We have already seen famous old clubs such as Southampton and Leeds go down and they will be followed by others.
“It’s not impossible that one of the larger clubs could go. We all know the obvious one. These clubs can go under and I can see others following. I do scratch my head and wonder why they do it.”

Some people on here need to live in the real world….we are doing well – both on and off the field.
You can’t post facts like that on here Micky. Did you not know Whelan has been pocketing all the transfer profits for years?
We beat the worst team in the leage by a lucky referee blunder…
Do not get misguided by this win, The Spaniard must go he has no clue.
F*** me, it’s Loudmouth’s younger, less optimistic, brother
Loudmouth caught on camera.

Whoooah! Wind your neck in son.
I hope that comment wasn’t aimed at me.
My remark was as a result of someone actually realising that the money from transfers doesn’t go straight into Whelan’s @rse pocket.

My head hurts.
Correct, but also, had he been born a girl, he would not have been a footballer, and would also not have got the injury! It’s all down to circumstance. Leaving Wigan is as much to blame for the injury as his decision to get out of the bed that morning. It’s just a silly argument.
If he was at Wigan at the time, I doubt he would have got that injury.
How on earth do you justify that statement? :?
Because he wouldn’t have been playing in the game for fulham vs newcastle therefore parker couldnt have fell on his leg and snapped it. Simple really. He may have got an injury at some stage but it wouldnt have been that injury and its more than likely that parker wouldnt have fell on his leg. Either you are not very clever or your trying to cause an argument for arguments sake.
Hang on a minute James, on the same basis, you might as well say that had he not signed for Wigan, you wouldn’t even be having this conversation!
u know jack s**t standish walker!Don’t think so. Does he live in Standish?
…and here’s his representative in the UK.
I presume you mean this month’s owner!
He was very skilful, but always looked to me like he was a bit unsure as to what was actually going on.
I always imagined him communicating with Jewell by hidden mike: ‘You want me to run now, yes? Kick it where? To that man over there, okay? Hoopla, I think I’ve just scored. That is okay, no?’
Just realised that if you hover your mouse over the picture it tells you what the game is and who the two players are.
So, here’s a photo of Andreas Johansson and Gary Caldwell. Can you tell me the names of the two players in the photo?
Talking of the Scandies, I wish I’d seen more of Per Frandsen.
Yes Jimmy…I agree :?Yes Jimmy, so do I.
(although I think we may be trying to offload a defender rather than get anyone else in)This beggars belief. Tiger Woods is currently a man at risk of losing his livelihood as a result of consensual extra marital affairs, yet a convicted rapist is welcomed into our town by the public and people are asked to pay for the privilege of seeing him. It’s an absolute disgrace that he’s even allowed into this country. Would Marlon King be allowed into the States?
What’s next? An audience with Peter Sutcliffe? Low impact aerobics with Purple Aki?
