I don’t want to be owned by the goons but rather that than not have a club.

As for them playing here, good. Charge them whatever rent we can and split the costs of the upkeep. Win win. (Plus its a good venue to visit when we give them a hiding every season)

    Business 101 with Latics fans.

Club posts accounts showing big losses:

“We should sack Paul Cook and appoint Neil Warnock/Nigel Pearson/Other high profile manager that would cost a fortune

Club goes into administration and was reliant in funding of circa £2m a month to pay bills:

“Why are we selling everything not nailed dow? This is a joke”

Stadium loses money despite rugby paying rent and needs work.

“Let’s get rid of the rugby we don’t need them”

To sum up….having lost millions of late, the business plan is to remove a guaranteed income stream because of a 30 year grudge on a club no longer owned by the idiot that started it.

    :good: :good:

Next week on the intelligence of Latics fans:

“I’d rather go bust than be owned by Ian Lenegan”

“Lenegan never wanted us and just wanted us to die. What a prick”

Not sure we can blame the pitch for losing 5-0

Its a belief that theyre all maurice and all gate us. Same with the council. The leader of the councils a latics fan yet we still slag hom off

Mutty still peddling the crap that griggs bo good because blunderland spent a load of money on him and then didnt play to his strengths

Pollard can’t afford the football club but he probably would have bought us if he did. He’ll know exactly what it costs from his time at oxford and the efl.

Maybe he is one of the local investors the SC have been working with? If they can save the club but not the stadium then him coming in to buy that would be vital. He can’t shaft us as it all goes through the council.

Obviously the further away he is the better fr me as a saints fan, but i don’t think he is as bad as people say just because of his connection to the goons. They aren’t all bad, just most of them

Richardson isn’t helping with shite like this.

    https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1362171069138894850

    He has a point.

Its his own fault, he could have brought in a couple of coaches instead of bringing in about 9/10 players in January and getting shut of the young lads that seem to be getting to grips with League 1.

Some players that we didn’t need as the positions were covered anyway, Richardson has screwed up big time and deep down he knows it, even though i respect his loyalty the guy is clueless.

We have the smallest squad due to admin but have used the most players.

Aye lets bring a load of coaches in. They can always have a game if we get injuries/covid.

The yanks put in a bid £2m below the asking price and the spanish spent weeks with the efl only to end up with someone who failed efl tests. Aye, both real close.

If a ‘journalist’ from the S*n told me it was Monday today I still wouldn’t believe them. Let’s not get carried away. Journos post what we want to hear for clicks and likes. Challenge big Al and he blocks you.

You’re spot on though browny, this admin has been a joke in terms of professionalism. Arguing with fans on twitter, talking to teenagers in their bedrooms, contradicting one another. Shambles.

in reply to: Light at the end of the tunnel? #191585

Putting it in capital letters doesn’t make it true btw. Do you write for the s*n by any chance?

in reply to: Light at the end of the tunnel? #191584

Pretty sure he said summat about Frampton too that he himself said was nonsense.

in reply to: Light at the end of the tunnel? #191583

Didnt he tell us the spanish were close? Didnt he tell us the yanks were close?

in reply to: Light at the end of the tunnel? #191581

Aye but he’s from that rag so most of it’s probably bullshit and the fact he blocks anyone who ever calls him out on it says all it needs to

in reply to: MK Dons 6th March 2021 #191540

How good is this. 3 0 up and have been in charge throughout

Don’t bother Ad. You can’t do right with some people.

    Say nothing – criticised
    Say something – criticised
Explain why you can’t discuss certain things – criticised

Fans are criticising you who clearly don’t listen to or read what you say because they’re having a go over things you’ve already said. Madness.

We all want to know what’s going on I get that, but it’s a fucking business deal. 90% of it will be confidential.

Social media has made this worse TBH with the likes of Nixon etc who are just after clicks and likes. We know the admins lie, we know that the press is scum (especially the rag Nixon works for) and yet we’re hanging on their every word and when the only people in this whole thing who are on our side update us we just give them shit for it. Absolute marness.

In all seriousness, it must be tough Ad and I think the majority of us are supportive of you.

The vast majority of the loud mouths on twitter will probably disapper next season when we’re -15 bottom of league 2. Be lucky to get 4000 on.
