    2 things from this.
    1. Where has Dave said this?? (Link) & 2. Was it a general soundbite or an answer to a direct question?

I think this is from a gossip site like Caught Offside or Talksh1te that are flinging rumours around in the hope that something sticks & they can say ‘Told you so’.

There are normally very few transfers that take place so soon after the end of season, as most clubs are on a break until July.

As S.W. said the CEO & Bob have both said that we as a club, at present, do not have to sell. That will do for me.

Totally agree. They would be in a pickle if the media refused to attend their games & completely blanked them. The sponsors to both team & on the hoardings would soon kick up a fuss if they were not getting the coverage they expect AND pay for.

I’m still stunned they even refused to speak to their own channel after one particular defeat.

According to the press reports on the incident they didnt even mention ‘HIM’ in a derogatory way. :angry-soapbox: :angry-soapbox: :angry-soapbox:

It was words to that effect yes.
I think Ali just wanted to soak up the atmosphere & celebrate with the jubilant Wigan fans.
I have never seen a player so happy to celebrate with a loan club (one that hasn’t just won silverware) & its fans.
