Could do with around 12k on here. We deffo need more home fans to turn up than usual for cup games or the media will have a field day.
Nob end only had 13k on at weekend with around 3k from Birmingham but you won’t hear about that. Only 10k home fans in the championship? We would be getting slated on every media outlet going.
Well they do get a decent crowd on Vat so that instantly means they should be in a high division.
I agree with Stu, who cares?
We know Jason Taylor is, can’t remember seeing the other guy at Springy
As he was at Uni until 1999, then he is a (little!) bit younger than Jay, and probably wasn’t even born when the Latics entered the league. Is that an acceptable excuse for not being at Frickley away in 1976?
Not if he supported someone else why he was at said Uni as that wouldn’t make him a lifelong fan would it?
I mean the physicality.
We will get that from most sides for the remainder of the season I think.
1993/94 season I think. Went the games that didn’t clash with the rugby and then was a regular from 96 onwards.
Junior Latics card to enter, enter the draw at the caravan then either sit in the lower tier if my sister was working or stand on the Andys Drive if not.
That your first game of the season that vat? ;) Just messin mate.
Kept wondering who the hell the other bloke was. Thought I was going mad lol
Jay was a Liverpool fan once I think lol
Bit like the rugby league world and wigan eh stu?
Well realistically the only change would be Roberts for Powell and you wouldn’t do that would you?
Maybe last night we just took our chances as opposed to the last 3 games?
Also getting a quite early first goal left Bournemouth chasing the game. In the second half Bournemouth’s football was quick and sharp with some great passing only to be let down by their shambolic finishing. This too lead to a much more open game leaving gaps everywhere for us to exploit. Burn bolstered up our defence further and after the two goals Bournemouth were finished. Hopefully we can take early leads in the next two home games.
I think we come out in top gear at home games and then when we score early we switch back into 2nd gear and the game becomes boring.
On the flip side, when we don’t score they grow into the game and kill it like the last 3.
I don’t think we are doing too much wrong and we certainly don’t need to go round switching things about. We have literally missed a load of chances recently that would have made a huge difference.
When the chances start to dry up I think we need to worry.
Colclough for Massey sorry. Well. Anyone for Massey really, but even he impressed last night.
I expected a narrow 1 goal defeat I’ll be honest. Great performance though.
Roberts was fantastic.

Good old Donny and his foot in mouth posts.
Well according to some guy on BBC we don’t care about our club as we chose the FA Cup above PL survival.
Probably one of the Arsenal muppets who celebrated 4th place every year.
