            I would be more concerned about Sturridge personally. He is still in his ‘honeymoon’ period & has a point to prove to Chelsea & their last 8 managers.

            True. Sturridge is in form at the moment but a lot of his play is off the back of good work from the racist

                They’re due about 46 penalties apparently. Every time they get beat they should have had at least one.

                Keep Suarez quiet and they’ve nothing.

                  We didn’t play 3 at the back. We played 4 – 4 – 2 so Figgy was left back and JB was playing the left wing.

                  We played the same system we always play.

                  Scharner has been superb since he came back.

                    The nearest rugby team to most of those places would be Wigan.If they were from places like Salford, Widnes or say London then of course that would be wrong. Plenty Wigan born people move out of Wigan as well you know. There are quite a few on here.

                    Don’t forget that being the biggest name in the sport is bound to see us carrying several add on fans from nearby villages and towns ;)

                          A team finally put some effort in, and Bradford got tonked.. Like they would have against Us, Arsenal AND Villa had they tried and put some effort and enthusiasm in.

                          They got pasted in all 4 games. I think it was more luck running out than anything else.

                              For the record SDW…..

                              Our crowd against Liverpool has been sub 20k for the last 3 seasons. You can’t use the database as an excuse because you only need to have been to 1 match in the whole time we’ve been at The JJB/DW. If you haven’t managed that then you aren’t really a Wigan Athletic fan are you?

                              London Broncos had less than 10 fans there so almost 12k home fans for a sh*te game on a freezing cold day isn’t bad going. Strangely enough, our crowds always take a hit on a Sunday nowadays.

                                Felt sorry for Bradford. They didn’t deserve their superb run to end like that especially the keeper who really was the hero of the run.
