Ok then….the guy half of us wanted sacked.
It’s still the same point, people didn’t like Martinez and said he was clueless, wasted transfer money, said the same things in defeat and was out of his depth in the same way they now say them about Cook, and yet they want Martinez back.
The Royle’s need to get to Burnley and offer Bobby Lad the job!
The same Bob we all wanted sacked?
All?
Well, most on here definitely did
Expections
1. Chris Hughton
2. David MoyesReality
1. Neil Warnock for 6 Months
2. Owen CoyleI suspect the Royle’s are realists which is why Paul Cook still has his Job.
Coyle has signed for an Indian League club today !
Phew !
You laugh but he is a better alternative to what we have and his football was better than the shite we play now.
He also had a better squad and a pot load more money

5th win in 9 games that. We did beat West Brom after the PNE debacle a few weeks later but it was 8 wins from 39 after the Bristol game.
We had a great start and a great end but were pretty poor in the middle.
Interestingly we were crap once Powell got injured and were ok when we came back. This season we have had no Powell at all. Coincidence?
Because we won the fa cup and spent 8 years in the premier league of course
If it’s an image from your hard drive you’ll need to upload it to a hosting site first. Google one.
He has the authority to run the day to day dealings of the club. Anything with a negative financial implication will have to go through the shareholders or will be answerable to them afterwards.
Like I say, once we have no shareholders it is much easier to sack him and much easier to splash the cash in the transfer market (under ffp of course)
And as lots pointed out to me, last season was to consolidate and this season improve?.
We will go down under the current manager and the powers that be seem unconcerned which is just as worrying. Also, shifting the powers above over from share holders to one sole owner ? That worries me as well. So now in theory he now has no one to answer to.
Whelan had nobody to answer to and that seemed to work well most of the time. It makes things like sacking managers on long term deals much easier.
Dhgate by any chance? I use them to purchase my PSG shirts and they are pretty good. The sizing is different and the odd time you get it wrong, but for 15 quid a time it normally doesn’t matter.
2 reserve sides and a drab 2 or 3 nil defeat
And another of the reasons we aren’t doing well this year. Lost our best player by a mile and not even got close to replacing him
Relegation will cost us more than paying off his contractAnd that is exactly my point. Sack him and still go down and we pay twice. That is the business/financial decision/gamble they have to make.
Like I say, if it was a guarantee we stay up with a new man then he is probably already gone.
Sounds nice that actually
I get ya. Sorry, my brains fried after being out with my mate Benedict yesterday
