      Well I saw an article at the weekend in a paper and it absolutely both caught my eye, and stunned me.

      Apparently, the Spanish league is in a major financial crisis, with many clubs (Not Barca or Real Madrid, obviously) being in such a bad state that they reckon La Liga is going to be the, and I quote, ‘bargain basement’ for football transfers.

      It went on to list several players, saying what Englishg club could be suited to moving for them, and it said what a quality buy Michu has been for Swansea.

      The bit that absolutely stunned me most though, was the revelation that Athletic Bilbao are among the cash-strapped clubs, and could be looking to offload star striker Fernando Llorente for as little as £3 million! That is nuts, because less than a year ago, they were talking £20-30 million for him.

      If it is right about him being so cheap to obtain, it would be a no-brainer for me for an English club to move for him. I’m not saying us, but anybody. £3 million? Dear god! I’d offer that, AND chuck in Di Santo and Boselli as part of the deal!

      And yes, if it’s true about cheap bargains in Spain, I would expect our manager to be ready to move, as I would expect him to be knowledgable about that league in particular.

                        Are you seriously telling me that the huge gaps at the ends of the Boston Stand (as well as plenty throughout), a West Stand that is only populated in the centre, and a half-full (at best) South Stand comes to 14500?

                          Here we are again in a position where we have to scrap and fight for everything. That means EVERYBODY working hard in Defence Midfield & Upfront.
                          So why is it that Senor Gomez continues to ‘strut’ around like he’s in a training session……his work rate is just not enough and I don’t think I saw him trying to win the ball back or put his foot on a tackle throughout the whole game!!!
                          Yes he has the ability to put in a killer pass, but there were times in the game when I forgot he was on the pitch!!!…
                          He’s a lazy arse and why should we carry him…we havent got that luxury!!

                              Unfortunatly he does Griff but as a cyclist misel there are some numpty cyclists as well as inpatient drivers who cant get from a to b fast enough
