Leeds 0-2 Wigan. Now that our defence is playing better I can see us scoring twice on the counter attack(Grigg and Wildschutt) and their crowd giving the home side grief after the first 20 mins.
Ever the optimist B)Safety first or we could end up getting our fingers burnt.
He’s training at the club and if all goes well may be offered a contract.
Was more than happy to pay the £199 which was promised last season, now find out I’ve got £20 spare (not telling the missus ;) ) All credit must go to Sharpy and Jonathon Jackson, may not have been able to run a chippy but doing a grand job of running our football club. :woohoo:
Or to look at it another way, we owe them one.
Oops, small tablet and thick fingers.
Just a thought like but how’s about both clubs offering free admission to season ticket holders of the other team, might go some way to mending relations between fans.

(Puts tin hat on and awaits flak)If memory serves me right, when the stadium was being built the pitch was laid solely for football use which meant that from May until August work could be carried out to restore it. This meant that when the eggs were “invited” to ground share such work couldn’t take place hence the numerous new pitches since.
Seen it all now, some idiot on the Wigan Council faceache site is blaming Dave Whelan for the flooding.
Thought last night’s performance was the best I’ve seen in a long while and if we continue like that for the rest of the season then we won’t go far wrong.
Once our keeper and defenders started to mix it up a bit instead of just relying on playing out from the back Scunthorpe never got a look in.
As for M.O.T.M. I couldn’t pick one, every player gave 100 percent.Onwards and upwards.
Thanks for the memories Uncle Dave. I along with my family wish you all the best.
Onwards and upwards.Andy Delort will focus the tunic of Wigan Athletic this season.
After long and painful months of discussions and negotiations with a dozen clubs in Europe, TOURS FC and WIGAN ATHLETIC have found an agreement, so far, on the transfer of Andy DELORT.
First and foremost, President Jean-Marc ETTORI and the club would like to thank from the bottom of the heart, Andy, for what he brought to the club last season.
After Olivier GIROUD and Laurent KOSCIELNY, Andy DELORT moved to England where he is promised to a good career in one of best leagues in the world, and a prestigious club.
His transfer allows the club to see the future in a better light, and to implement a good and sound management, absent for too long.
Only one regret, that no french club could make an acceptable offer for such a player. Andy and I would have been happy to see him at LENS.
But economic and fiscal french clubs is such that survival is a permanent feat.A few lines to conclude:
Often considered the head of enterprise as a man to kill, or a cow milking. Some see him as the horse pulling the chariot. Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts.
“Never yield. Don’t ever give. Never, never, never, in the grand ever, don’t give in never detract from big and small, important and trivial. Don’t ever – give if facing the honour and good sense. »
Winston Churchill, October 29, 1941, speech at Harrow SchoolJean-Marc ETTORI, President of Football Club Tours
Not much good at this computing malarkey.

Looks like it’s a done deal finally.
The screens were turned off because they are being transferred to Preston North End and Whelan didn’t want to risk any breakdowns.
