As disappointing as it is to lose him, 7m is an enormous amount of money (if that figure is true?) so take a bow Sharpy, great bit of business..
Pfff…..what chances that 7 million will be re invested in the team?
Take a bow Whelan’s bank manager more like.
Just seen on a tweat and Nob End have been given a FULL allocation of 4700 seats.
I must be missing something here as the North and South Stands both hold 5400 so why the reduced capacity. 700 x £25 would come in handy for our club so what is going on and why?The 700 seat shortfall is because the front 3 or 4 rows and the 1/2 column to the east of the stand are secured from use by netting for security reasons. I can’t ever see them changing the policy on that for a local derby.
So if they are never going to be used then take the feckers out.
Come on East Standers, don’t be unreasonable about this, you would still be guaranteed a seat, you would just be looking at the pitch from a different angle and the Latics could cash in against the big clubs.Tell you what, let em have the West Stand, then them boring bastards can move.Theres more noise in a chapel of rest than comes from the West stand.
I went to Goole Town Away back in 1971 so Im more of a fan than any of you lot.
Really, I don’t remember seeing you there!
As long as fans are willing to pay £35 to £45 then greedy clubs will continue to charge it.
I wont be donating a penny towards Rooney’s £250,000 A WEEK wages.
Do we drop Grigg for him because we won’t play them both.Ave we signed im then?
Any comment from Mr Charisma about the tie yet?
£37-£45 was the Reading cup prices.
They can shuv it.
Will be the first time in 76 ties than ManUre wont be live on telly in the cup.
He had dreams of 25K every week in the Prem but it was always going to be tough to achieve and so it proved. The pitch problems didn’t help either as he couldn’t have as many other events like rugby Internationals (5 sell outs off the top of my head) and England U21 games.
Our first season saw us get regular crowds of over 22,000. The second season Whelan got greedy and lumped another tenner on the price of tickets, the fans revolted, crowds slumped and Whelan had to re-think.But for some the damage was done.
Funny how ‘other commitments’ appear when we are at home in the cup.Like Bullit says the plastics woulld be out in droves if it were Citeh,Man Yoo or the scousers.
If you didn’t go,fine but spare us the bullshit…. eh.
Hold out for a million then get shut.
Morsy is that shit he is currently a regular in a team sitting 8th in the Championship.
