SAFC you are talking utter cr@p saying Wigan is a rugby town!
Do your homework rather than listening to west ham goons on talksport.
We are in the PL on merit and have been since 2005 thats the point mate!!!
Unlike Blunderland we are in THE football hotbed(6 rival EPL clubs within a 20 mile radius) not a false media created one like the one you have in the north east-2 clubs you both should be gettin 90000 a game shouldnt you?I take it your a fan of that truly worlwide sport(pmsl!)that will soon be absorbed by the much bigger and richer Rugby Union. :woohoo:
4-1 with a cr@p ref behind them and a wind that would blow a ten ton truck anywhere!
Luckiest bunch of b@@@@@Ds i have ever seen-bottom half finish at best for them!Brilliant haul against all the odds however lets not lose sight that this is probably our lowest ever points total at this stage since we joined the premier league so its a must win tonight.
I still think Swansea(new Blackpool maybe?) and Norwich will hit the skids at some point and i will be very surprised if they both sail past the 40 point mark with ease.Good post goodpost goodpost
However perhaps a few of the fairweather b@@@ards(jumped on bandwagon circa 2005) that sit and watch our home games in the pub rather than come to the ground should also read your post and hang their heads in shame eh?Terrible news he was only 46-certainly puts things into perspective-good player and coach.
RIP
The club should have a took a stab on the lower divisions ages ago.
Jordan Rhodes at Huddersfield,Ricky Lambert at Southampton have both been banging the goals in but nobody at this level seems that interested in either of them.
Give me a young hungry skilful lad from the lower divisions anyday than some prima donna from overseas.on par with Milan derby that one-no chance of getting in!
There are tons of Utd ‘fans’ all over Wigan and i have rarely met any that EVER go to live matches never mind the odd game!
Hingley is also home to stacks of Wigan RL dont forget so i would assume a few of them were present also as they love all things Latics dont they??????????
Never classed Hindley as part of Wigan anyway -a town on its own like Ashton!Very sad news indeed i remember the Everton game and his picture of innocence after he had clattered latchford. His interview afterwards was pure class also and Latics easily took 20,000 to goodison (it was their biggest gate of the season other than the derby match 52000 i think).
A good player who served the club well and gave some good performances.
I hope they have a minutes applause for him at the Sunderland game next tuesday!
rest in peaceWhelan has acheived the impossible keeping the club up on a shoestring budget-his silence is applauded
I agree completely that the standard has increased this season to such an extent that a relegation contender(Boringham City) has won a major trophy!
Latics cant compete and lets be honest who thought the club would last six seasons in the Prem.
Its not the end of the world we will still have a club to support next season and hopefully all the fans will return to support the club in the lower division.
Think of it possible trips to Leeds,Burnley and Boro instead of Dulham(mega yawn surely the most boring football club in history-b a stad watertreaders),Boringham and Stokick city.
Who gives a @@@@!!!!!!Chester are very big fishes now in a very tiny pond occupied by what is largely former factory teams.Surely the powers that be could have put them straight in the Bluesquare north due to the size of this club.
What is annoying about clubs like this is that they reform and suddenly have an enormous away and home followings unlike the days when thay were a league club when three men and the dog turned up.
Latics always took over the Deva when we went there and even sat in their stands due to the low numbers. If these had fools turned up back in the day when they were a league club things would be so different now.
What they must realise is that although the clubs in the league evostick are whatever it is called may be little @ rsewipe clubs they still have an assortment of headbangers who will turn out and cause trouble like we saw yesterday.
One thing though i am absolutely sure about is that our livelier supporters would never target innocents like that mob did yesterday.
8-)I was there and saw the fence coming down before the game (loads of wanabees dont think a puch was thrown)
and im told Chester kids and pensioners were ambushed after the game-BANG OUT OF ORDER!.
The atmosphere reminded me of the late seventies at Latics with people charging around and the dreadful fashions in Chorley are years behind as well as the attitudes.
Strange little town .Chorley chester game was like a throwback to the 70’s and that was just the fashions.
Chester seem to have found some fans rather than the three men and the dog they used to bring to springy.I know yer, im not gohoris biggest fan but my grandad is better than caldwell haha
The only 2 changes i would do is diame out for mccarthur and maybe start cleverly now hes fit instead of moses and get moses on about 60 mins
I really like moses but i think he is better used as an impact player than a starter, which i think is the opposit for cleverlyMoses would start every game for me!
Moses is a fantastic player improving all the time and does not give the ball away unlike a good few of his team mates. He had a small hand in the goal yesterday and his run through their defence to set up Hugo was superb. The team has looked much better since his return with more shape and creativity.
His influence(mostly from the bench) last season won us at least six points in my view and kept us up.
Our best player in my viewRobin Park away???
Local derby or what?
They will need a massive police presence for that one could go off big time around the ground  -
