I was appallled at the dreadful scenes and I feel sorry for the genuine fans and children who have to put up with this pond life poisoning their football club.
Didnt listen but i bet they trawled out the rugby town garbage again.
They say it as a stock line whenever Latics come up in conversation.Stoke deffo involved now and on a dreadful run however I think QPR may well be flattened by that result today so the impetus is surely with us.
Stoke are a surprise but they have lived on a sticky wicket with their dreadful non football and they don’t seem to have the character to get out of this hole.They locked the gates and there were thousands who couldn’t get in to the ground.I remember at the time estimates of 25000 plus Wiganers had turned out for the game .Maybe we should contact a certain national talk station and give them this statistic next time they start droning on about “rugby town” and poor attendances.
