The point I am making is that the media continue to berate our attendances and state the rugby town myth as the reason.I hear this myth week in week out and yet we have the cold hard evidence in the same week both clubs were live on sky.
11,902 (local derby) last night against 22,547 last sunday I rest my case!

Haidara has told a French website (according to SSN) that he has no broken bones or ligament damage but has some bruising and will miss 2-3 weeks.

He is also disgusted at the fact that Callum won’t face any action as he could have ended his career and ruined his life………..clearly not.

We all know the real reason for all the fuss and it has nothing to do with the incident.

Mark Saggers was on a Crusade to get Callum – and John Barnes (amazingly) spoke so much common sense to tell him he was wrong i was shocked.

That comercial station irritates the hell out of me -full of Shock jocks and ex cricketers bragging about how many freebies they get.
The pic above shows them up and who can forget the dreadful decision back in December that gifted them 3 points.
all it does is deflect from the fact that they were rubbish on sunday.

the most important goal ever was nzogbia last minute winner against west ham,

I totally agree with that as had we drawn the game we probably wouldn’t have had the momentum to beat the Stoke the following week.
It was a result that it also affected some clubs psychologically and I knew we would sty up after that dramatic late win.

Correct GL.I’ve had a tweet from him this morning wishing us luck today and at wembley.

So why does he spout such mis informed rubbish.
I also note he very rarely talks us up despite launching his career at Latics.

They all spout the same garbage when talking about Latics and it riles me up.
Heard some fat Blackburn goon last season coming out with same cr@p before our home game with them outside the ground last season.when myself and the people I was with told him he was taking utter shit he went white obviously thought he could get away with his ranting drivel-we should have filled the fat lump in.
Obviously I don’t condone that sort of thing but…………

Aye. But its tedious to read your constant nonsense whenever there’s a chance to stick the boot into the club or to see ya pop up with a negative comment. We ain’t even played today and you’re at it. This club has grown through positivity and loyal supporters and our loyal Manager getting behind the team. We are about to enter possibly the most exciting period in our history of our beloved club. FFS BELIEVE!

                          Well said Roy!
Bloody hell we haven’t played yet and it’s six points adrift this and six points adrift that.
let’s take the effing roof off today and celebrate our recent success

Villa are naive as a squad to probably think they are safe already and didn’t Blackburn have As similar point gap at a similar stage last season?
They had a degree of good fortune yesterday and have some hard games coming up so it isn’t over by a long chalk.
Villas defence looks awful again yesterday and i am going to be bold here and say we will beat them and QPR in those six point games coming up.In a weird way we have some pressure off because they will think they are going to be safe and that can take some intensity away from their play -let’s not beat about the bush Villa are a bad side and we slaughtered them at their place.
Just a little comment about our rubbish home form-is it wise to have the players rock up to Wrightington hotel on a Saturday night? I saw some of the arriving at 7pmlast night when I came out of the gym there when the game kicks off at 4pm tomorrow?.Surely they can be trusted?
Surely it would be better to let them stay at home and report in first thing rather than loll around a hotel getting tense and nervous-just a thought but it makes you wonder doesn’t it?

On the basis we do beat Millwall :woohoo:

Couple of anniversaries of note…40 years since Sunderland beat Leeds…and 25 years since the Scousers got turned over.

Remember it well, but just to recap for our younger viewers…

                              The team began with W
The place was better known for another sport (allegedly..) :P
                              Their manager was called Bobby

                              You couldnt make it up.

my thoughts exactly many many years since a cup final shock and if we get relegated what a better way to go out.
far better than being like Dulham and Stoke scraping forty points every year –

Beat Millwall and you never know…keep the faith chaps

so we can concentrate on getting to a cup final as the league is getting too hard for the likes of us
                                  harsh i know but true

                                  Home victory all day long.
Enjoy your football this is what is wrong with football today where the prem is the be all and end all.Pressure is on Newcastle who may be more nervous than us and we owe them for that debacle last December.
