Don’t think Jason and the Argonauts will be on TV this year.
Piemonn
Yes, it’s still Latics even if they go down. My team and Bobby is still one of us. I still believe in what he is doing even if we do go down.
I really don’t get the folk who want us to go back to hoofing the ball around just to stay in a league where we are out of our depth playing that way. At least with Bob we have the chance to see some exciting and classy football even though this is a tough changeover period.
I support Latics. I go along because I am a Wiganer, I have watched them for 40 years, I love the team and enjoy the whole experience. And I always will[/quote
Exciting and classy football

And…if 442 was the answer, as all our budding Mourinho’s on here claim it to be, why is everyone else not playing it?Bolton do!,Elmander + Davies not doing them any harm is it?.Blackpool neither all Premier ship teams change their forward formations if the need arises during a game ie falling a couple of goals behind or in desperate need of 3 pts.
All except Bobbys team as Tyldesleylatic mentions!. :roll:The 3 midfielders really got forward to support to support the lone striker!,Pity 1st team don’t do the same!then Bobbys system may work. :o

Here’s something to think about….the one up front system, well, it’s not Bobby’s. No really it’s not. Other teams play it – in fact most successful team play it. So you see, it does work, it’s just that it isn’t working for first team at present.[/quoteHad 18 months practice!
Just been watching the youth team beat Stoke 3 nil and must say I was very impressed. They use the same system as the 1st team 1 up front, but the 3 central midfielders really got forward well to support the striker. We seem to have some very good young players at the club who are comfortable on the ball.
Oh and only the keeper was wearing gloves, hard as well! The 3 midfielders really got forward to support to support the lone striker!,Pity 1st team don’t do the same!then Bobbys system may work. :o
Without being able to mind read I’d say that Bobby took Figueroa off because he’d not long been booked & as the game was getting a bit tetchy at that point he didn’t wanna risk him getting another caution & being sent off
Probably learnt his lesson from the United game when he should have taken Alcaraz off
So if he can learn that lesson why cant he learn that one lone striker does not work !! :x [/quote]
2 up front no chance!
TALKING TACTICS
He doesn’t know any other way [than to play attractive football]. He’s not the kind of manager who will go route one just to get results. He’s always stressing the importance of performances over results and if you look after your performances the results will look after themselves. He will be looking forward to the opportunity of going up against a fellow advocate of good football. There is no danger that Martinez will resort to anything else other than his usual brand of attacking football.  :roll:Newcastle,Man U,Liverpool,Arsenal etc etc not a patch on
Wiggin Wurriers one of the most famous sporting clubs in the world, one of the giants of British Sport.  :lol:There’s one thing for sure.
They won’t coming for our Mon Bobby! :roll:Decent display today got to agree with Hindley blue + Stepton01 maybe got 3pts if bobby had really gone for it.
However looking at this seasons results there does seem to be a pattern of 2 poor games followed by 1 good one,Need to be more Consistent Bobby! :? -
