Dont think Roy Hodgson would of had him at Fulham never mind Liverpool. No chance this will come off and if it does Ill be shocked!
This is Scharner and his agent stiring things up again.To be fair I think the original post subject has been worded wrongly. The point the guy is making is a valid one. If the club promises something then they should at least honour their promises. Otherwise dont promise anything ! Personally I think the dvd is sad and just gives rival fans more ammo to take the mick ! Its like the ” Twin Scarves ” you see lower league club fans wearing when they draw say Liverpool in the cup !! A mate of mine commented ” They will have a dvd out ” when we beat Chelsea and he wasnt far off the mark ! The old “top 4” league form reads Played 40 won 3 ! Nothing to shout about really, never mind bring out a dvd !That was exactly my point, apologises for wording it wrongly. Im not demanding that the club give me these “offers” but they should at least follow them through if they do.
And just to make things worst, my 1st payment for my season ticket came out today, they took double what was meant to be charged! I was told it was a technical error and I will get a refund in 14 working days!!?? 14 days??? Why so long?? Also my 4 year old son isn’t allowed an under 5 season ticket this year even though his next birthday is May next year. Because he’s still classed as being 5 during the season? Ridiculous! Why promote and offer things and not follow through!
You know something? I’ve had a season ticket for 25 years now, and at times I’ve felt ‘hard-done’ by. Why? Because of certain things that have happened, the way things have been administrated, etc. Such as, the free Carling Cup Final tickets given to ‘loyal fans’. The whole way it was done was ridiculous. I had people I know, who had been watching us for a couple of seasons, waving tickets in my face, yet myself and my father didn’t get any. It was all wrong, the way it was done, and at the time I told Matt McCann as much.
And then there are the yearly ‘rewards’ that are supposedly given. The ‘bring a friend for a fiver’,or whatever. That’s all fine and well, but how is it rewarding the actual season ticket holder? It isn’t. The club can’t seem to grasp this, and don’t help themselves by the way they market it as a ‘reward for season ticket holders’. It isn’t.Why don’t they just issue a voucher to season ticket holders for, say, the value of £10 or £15, for redemption in the club shop. These could be collected from the ticket office, and marked off against your season ticket. Most people would by a replica shirt or something which needed money putting to it, so they’d get a fair chunk of the expense back.
Is it THAT difficult? Surely this would BE a reward for s/t holders?

New supports are treated like gods, and us few that have had a season ticket for years get nothing!!
Yes its great that the season ticket is cheap, but the only way they get around this is to skint us in other areas of the business.

Wigan are cheated and a player banned for a poor decision and Martinez isnt allowed to speak his mind. What kind of message are they sending to the world? When we get it right we’re the best the league in the world but when we get it wrong keep it shut!
I’ve heard rumours it’s Puma and been sent this earlier as it’s apparently our new kit for next season.Hope thats the new one, I like it!!
I dont think Id be too bothered if Scharner left, he did a good job for us. Good, not great and as long as we bring someone else in, younger maybe with a bit more hunger to actually show his talent instead of talking a good game we’ll do ok.
Plus big wages, £30,000 a week Ive heard!

Then in my opinion, you know nothing. ;) I was watching Martinez when Scharner gave the ball away/let the ball go past him again and immediately called for Gomez. I am sure the instruction tio him was to keep possession better.
He only changed his mind because Diame got injured, as you say. If we’d had another sub available, I reckon Gomez would still have come on, not least because Scharner was injured himself.[/quote]

Im not moaning or criticizing the performance. It was great! And to see the players finally click together like that was magic to watch. But he lost us the game against Stoke when he came on. Martinez’s loyalty towards him is baffling. Why he thought of bringing him on when Thomas was on the bench is equally baffling!In my opinion Koumas is alot better player and he doesnt even get a look in on the bench now a days.

We missed Boyces pace on Sunday, Melchiot is technically a better player, but he can’t get up and down the field like he once did.Technically better!? I hope your joking, he cost us the game on Sunday with his defending!
He’s a captain that doesnt care if we go down or not, no heart! Before Bobby goes Mario must be dropped!
I rarely boo, but did after that announcement! He was by far the worst player on the pitch, and hes the skipper!!!!
How can he set an example to the rest of his squad when most fans would agree boyce is a better right back.
Mario and only Mario can be blamed for the 1st goal, Caldwell told him to go out wide and he ignored him and went for the man with ball when Caldwell had him covered! Ball gets played out wide and boom, 1-0!
Before we even think about sacking Bobby, Mario needs to step down as captain and allow someone with a bit of class and fight to lead the side.
For those who bought half season tickets – you WILL be allowed entrance to the game tomorrow…. bargain
