I spent nothing on food and drink all day, due to us taking our own. Might sample a burger at the final, though £8.50 for burger and chips in a box was expensive. Plenty folk paid the prices though, I was surprised at people supping their ‘five pound pints’ in a plastic glass.
Anyway, I’ve got home and I’ve only won the bloody lottery! What a day!

Personally from what I have read about yesterday’s match we may have turned a little corner.Millwall showed themselves (again) to be scum, selling loads of tickets to hangers on is now seen to be a bad thing, even the Mail mentioned that we were unapologetic about not selling all our tickets and then added (astonishingly for them) “nor should they apologise”, and we were praised for a very professional performance, and Callum McManaman is getting the praise he deserves.
Outside of Newcastle I think we’ve got a lot of people now who’ll root for us in the Final.

Gomez’s passing was awful giving the ball away a number of times.
Still there were plenty of positives to take from this game and I think if Zamora hadn’t been sent off it would of been an easy win.
Not using it as an excuse but once they put 9 men behind the ball and tried to hit us on the break via Townsend they caused us far more problems than when they had 11 men on the pitch.
No positive spin from Martinez to give anyone on here ammo he was deservedly unhappy and according to Maloney expressed that at half time.

It is a great thread. I’m amazed at home many non-Wiganer fans we have. I sat next to a Dutch fan last home game. We have truly gone global!
Ive noticed allsorts of nationalities at games, South Americans, Europeans, the lot. A lot are attracted by individual players we have, I think. Maybe some HSV Hamburg fans will visit us, due to Scharner? There always seems to be youth football team groups from Scotland as well.

I know some adopted Wigan fans from Denmark and the Netherlands whom we go on holiday with. Very nice people, Meet them in Italy annually. The dutch fella demands a jar of Uncle Joes mint balls every year so we oblige.
