Scotland was ok, Not half as bad as some others, We lost our shape when he was replaced. He just wont run at a player, He runs the 10 yards, stops when he is approached and then waits for a sideways or backwards pass, Still nowhere near good enough though, As is half of the team. Uncle Dave must spend money in the summer if we stay up because we will be severely battered and embarrased next season.

Just got back, Woeful again. We have to be going down. Martinez has not got a bloody clue

Bo**ox to that, a quick pint in the Brick and its down to the Stadium of Dreams.

    COME ON WIGAN

Wich ground are YOU off to then

in reply to: England keeper #22117

And anyone who really thinks Kirkland is good is just a plain barnpot. There is no better keeper in the prem, haha bloody hell Bobby, I reckon there is at least 19 from other squads, He was ok when we signed him and has declined an awful lot ever since. Keepers for me would be

    Green
    Robinson
    Hart

Only reason im going tonight is i have got some free tickets. Whelan takes none of my money any more. Countless season tickets and £££s down the swanny because he loves to sell our best players every year. Show some Mr. Whelan and you watch our support grow.

    in reply to: Roberto… #21918

    Theres a problem though. You are utter s h i t

in reply to: WHELAN- Has he got the patience… #21917
…with our joke of a towns’ people not supporting our fantastic team. If you like Whelan or not there is no excuse for our poor following, there must be well over 30000 football fans in this town. We need all the support we can get win lose or draw fans support their team. But unfortunately Dave Whelan won’t stick around if the joke public of wigan will not follow the team. Some will say good get rid of him, but the fact is we will not be a premiership team without him.

Take off the blinkers and look at the bigger picture pal. What a stupid and pointless post

in reply to: Lee Cattermole speaks the truth! #21300

He hasnt played against Steven Gerrard much then!

in reply to: 6m First Option On Moreno #21298

Just to add, his last 2 International goals have come against Brazil and Argentina

in reply to: Martinez Vote Stay or Go? #21293
Why when you post do you always get some friend saying ‘by the way i have been going longer than you’. Its a pointless statement. You cant know that and i could be 79 years old for all you know. Self righteous insecure mongs!

just making reference to the (not just these men who dont even go) statement, ive gone for many years but am fast losing interest. Doesnt make me any less of a fan, Bath Latic, Swindon Latic e.t.c probably dont go(ok completely different circumstances) but it doesnt make them lesser fans.We all want one thing, A bit of ambition, a bit less of a lying chairman and a bit more solidarity in the ground. We could sell out every game but things must change first. Whelan putting the fans down all the time and selling our best players every year isnt helping. There was more atmosphere and love in the early 90s when we played the likes of Halifax then there is now when we play Man Utd. Something, somewhere has gone seriously wrong.

Wasnt a dig or a self glory comment, By no means.

Is it not time for martinez to bring in an experienced assistant in albeit on a short term deal he is struggling now, jones and barrow not up to it Paul Hart available no compo to pay, did a great job last year at Pompey keeping them up in trying circumstances, so been there and done it, he also has to find a Plan B, has been too much of a one trick pony, need more grit oh for a cattermole, back four become a soft touch, and worried about new keeper, stoke will certainly test him, next week.with their up and under, long throw game, lets try 442, for once, at sunderland, heres hoping. :)

I would take Paul Hart onto the team until the end of the season certainly to help them along, Cant help but think Jonesy might feel undermined though, Good shout though, We are crying out for a bit of enthusiasm on the coaching front.

in reply to: Martinez Vote Stay or Go? #21276

Certain circumstances why i wont go. Ive probably been going longer than you have roy, I would take pre-whelan having indifferent seasons in the old division 3 and enjoying away days, cup runs e.t.c than this dross we have to put up with now (dross being the premiership and Whelan of course)

    Oh and

Martinez – Stay – Ive never said otherwise

Whelan – Out, New regime needed i think
