Wasn’t fully fit

Bollocks. He plays like that every time. Joke of a player and the team has let themselves and us down. Down with a whimper. The F.A Cup final just seems pointless now. Europe next season. yeah ok, We won’t get past the first round with a Championship weakened side.

Nobody to blame but ourselves. Was really expecting a big performance tonight. But i should have known better. Every time they get your hopes up, They dash them in an instant. Players like Caldwell, Di Santo can just sod off for me. Don’t have the aptitude for it.

The man deserves a statue outside the ground when he calls it a day on his time running the club.

Don’t think anyone could argue with that.

As another poster said. It should already be there.

Ha ha ha the doom then the belief what a thread goodpost goodpost

People can only comment on what they see and it was looking bad for a while. I learned long ago not to write them off too soon. The ‘doom’ and then ‘belief’ you speak of is what the team makes you believe, If you are desperate for points and know you need super performances then you are 1-0 down playing badly and then 2-1 down playing badly, People have the right to react to it. Delighted with the 3 points but chuffing hell i wish they would just get a few comfortable 2 or 3 nil wins every so often :cheer: :cheer:
Listen gimpy it was an observation of the thread not a slagging off remark
Gimpy :silly: :silly:

Sounds like an affectionate name for a bum slave
You make a lot of reference to gay people on this forum.

Please stop the homophobic comments they are as witty as ya mam jokes.

In reply to your previous comment re the age old chicken and egg question.

I think support should come before the result.

Obviously we disagree but no change there ey Yosser.
No i don’t, I called you a ‘cottager’ once and you pm’d me calling me a faggot. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :S :S

‘support before result’ Doesn’t really make sense to me that. (not saying that for an argument)

If we didn’t all support Wigan Athletic we wouldn’t be here and wouldn’t have been all over the show following them. Results business – of course, But people are entitled to voice disappointment if things aren’t going well because we are all managers aren’t we and we all know best. It’s just what football fans do, As long as you praise the team when it’s good its an even keel. Ups and Downs. And ive had more ups and downs with Latics nearly as much as with ‘ya mam’ :silly: :silly: :silly: :silly:

in reply to: keeper choice #112049

    Double edged sword.

Joel Robles for me, Al Habsi’s confidence has been shot all season and just got worse and worse. He has cost us a lot more points than Joel has and the defence has been just shocking. Ramis = ok but Captain Calamity was the weak link. Alcaraz = Great but Captain Calamity is back in the team. I don’t for one minute believe that Caldwell’s heart isn’t in it because it obviously is but he is very exposed at this level.

I do find it very worrying though that Martinez still can’t pick his best 11 after 3 seasons.

Is this where we start throwing names of possible replacement managers into the hat?

Because I can’t think of any, tbh.

Nor do I think we should make a change, actually.

I’ll say Graeme Jones will no doubt be in the running

    http://www.oddscomparisons.com/football/specials/team-betting/next-permanent-wigan-athletic-manager/?view=price&chartType=selections&period=auto&selections=226346342&bookmakers=

some of those names made me laugh
Jones would be my 1st preference if Bob went and the second isn’t even on that list………….. Gary Neville

& the little town I was born.

I wouldn’t go that far, Its still a shit hole full of dole filled smack rats and as far as i can see nothing has changed in the last two weeks. Its still the same.

in reply to: FA CUP FINAL COUNTDOWN #111909

I think the problem with this thread and as sirdave has stated. Everyone is going F.A Cup mad wearing the nostalgic day’s memoirs already.

We have much more important business to do before that. I honestly believe that the town and maybe the club have all their focus on the F.A Cup final and the league will run away from us.

We can beat Albion, Swansea and Villa no problem. But will we?

I have never been a believer in the old F.A Cup distraction, But i see what everyone get’s at now. It has certainly affected us so far.

    The youth zone.

Martinez and Youth Zone. We are so privileged to have these in Wigan aren’t we.

Wasn’t the soccerdome the best in Europe too.

Bet the Germans are shitting themselves at our might.

We don’t have the best football team in Europe. We have the best Rugby League team in Europe though :P :P :P

    Odds on the next poster

    sirdavewhelan 1/2, The Egg 13/8, Conroy 3/1

how can the egg & conroy have very different odds when it’s the same person?????
You know what, I didn’t even spot that until now. About 10 hours later :P :P :P :P

So now i get Griff’s second post.

    Dropeth the penny.

    GUN PLEASE

Everything he has influence on is the ‘best in Europe’

When you do something good, Everyone can see it. There is no need for his self proclaiming every time just to make sure people are noticing.

in reply to: Hertfordshire Latic looking for support #111799
    Hi,

Not posted here before but I’ve been reading for a while.

Anyway is there anyone down Hertfordshire way (Hemel Hempstead area to be specific)planning to watch THE match in a local boozer. It’d be good to meet some fellow ‘tics on the day rather than sitting at home chewing my nails on my tod.

    Nervous? Hell Yeah!

If my boss hadn’t been a bell end last year i could have joined you. I was doing a lot of work in Hemel Hempstead and staying down there. I was staying in a flat across from the big Tesco near the nightclub and mcdonalds.

in reply to: Oh well it was nice while it lasted…….. #111423

We could be in a very unusual position where West Brom fans want us to beat West Brom just in order to drag Villa right back in it.

in reply to: Tonights game #111336

Think it is probably best if we say a Villa win, Worst case scenario and all that so if its a draw or Sunderland win its happy days and then it REALLY IS in our own hands.

    REALLY WOULD BE wouldnt it.
Why are you such a bum bandit?

You don’t have to reply to my posts. Just ignore them, I do with yours.
