70-0…. What a joke Rugby league has become  …. and to think on another web site there were Warriors fans having a go at the Latics fans for only taking 23,000 down to Wembley for the semi final.
28 July 2013 at 2:29 am #118380Agree with you.folk keep digging that game how good it is,time to let it die, after all thats wer it belongs down under.
28 July 2013 at 2:32 am #118381are you not pleased that the Most succesful British rugby team are in the final a good account of our town dont you think
28 July 2013 at 2:37 am #118382Yeah if they charge um the same price we was charged.lol.never forget mon.
28 July 2013 at 3:50 am #118384Don’t you think it’s a real achievement if Wigan as a town held the most famous club football cup at the same time as the most famous rugby league cup?
I can’t understand the back biting from both sides, it’s pathetic and only highlights a lack of intelligence and class.28 July 2013 at 3:59 am #118386U must of forgot about doris and Liverpool in the league cup never forget as they wont about moving grounds
28 July 2013 at 5:05 am #118389Don’t you think it’s a real achievement if Wigan as a town held the most famous club football cup at the same time as the most famous rugby league cup?Who outside of the north of England and the east coast of Australia has even heard of the RL Challenge Cup?
Fame is relative – the FA Cup is a global A-lister; the RL cup is a Z.28 July 2013 at 12:34 pm #118390What date/time does your first home league game this season against Middlesborough kick off?
28 July 2013 at 1:54 pm #118391First home league game is against Doncaster on Tuesday 20 August at 7:45.
Middlesbrough is on Sat 24 August at 3:00.
28 July 2013 at 2:42 pm #118392I think it was a terrible image for rugby league yesterday.
They virtually gave wigan a home game in the challenge cup semi final against the bottom
Of the league, in the hope of filling the ground so it wouldnt look embarrassing on t.v.What we ended up seeing was an half empty stadium witnessing a horrible one-sided mauling.
Im not anti- rugby, but there really is nowhere for the sport to go. They have tried everything to make it
Popular amongst everyone, but on the whole people just arent interested.Wembley will be full of course, and they will claim that is how popular the sport is, but they will fail to
Mention that the WHOLE of rugby league will there. In the next 10 years, i can see sky pulling out and it will go back to predominantly amateur, it will probably be the best for both
Sky and rugby league.28 July 2013 at 3:15 pm #118396Can’t see wigan selling all their final tickets drove past the stadium at 11am and the queue was 4 not 400 but 4 people
28 July 2013 at 3:45 pm #118400What date/time does your first home league game this season against Middlesborough kick off?We can all see the point you are trying to make here cherrywhitedog but I’m quite sure the kick-off time will be changed so as not to clash with the RL Final, and understandably so. I’m quite sure the rugby would also have changed their kick-off time should the opposite have occurred in the event of a televised final, or semi-final for that matter.

Sky and rugby league.I’ve said it before.
Within 10 years Wigan Warriors, Leeds Rhinos and possibly Saints and Warrington Wolves will have converted to rugby union. That’s where the profile and money is.
28 July 2013 at 5:03 pm #118406Can’t see wigan selling all their final tickets drove past the stadium at 11am and the queue was 4 not 400 but 4 peoplei can see ther being a far bigger crowd on at hudderfield, hull v wires, and the fans are not on the door step, not as far has london had to travel.
28 July 2013 at 9:00 pm #118412Absolute pitiful attendance, only 6000 Wiganers can be arsed making the epic 5 mile journey….
Embarrassing, rugby league is knackered, Wiganers have proved once again they don’t give a shit about this mickey mouse game.
Wigan is a football town.
