6 May 2014 at 12:58 am #130659At Ajax or Barcelona? I assume Wenger will stay at Arsenal after all.

It looks like a positive result for Roberto.
With one game to go, Everton are 11 points behind Manchester City and Liverpool.
They are 34 points ahead of Sunderland, currently fourth from the bottom.
How long do you spend each day trawling through this thread. You’re turning into a serial stalker. You need to get out more
Anyway,I might be a few points out, but at the end of the day there’s no getting away from the fact he has failed again.

It isn’t hard to find misguided – and prejudiced – predictions. This thread is like a string of pearls – they appear on every page! Here’s yet one more;

Roberto has given you all a good run for your money and, quite simply, far exceeded your expectations. Has he failed? I suppose that depends on your definition of failure.
Last season, he took a small town club to Wembley and won.
This season he has taken Everton – financially a mid-table club like Aston Villa and Sunderland – to fifth place, and challenged Arsenal for a place in the Champions League. That’s something the Bobsessives regarded as unthinkable.
I’m sure Aston Villa and Sunderland would settle for that degree of failure.
Meanwhile, we’ve finished fifth in the Championship. With any luck, we’ll be able to measure our success when we come up against him again next season. Your thoughts are, of course, welcome.

Everton are currently 7 points behind Arsenal and may probably be 10 come weekend. Pushing them?, well if you think so.
As for the term Bobsessives, that my dear friend is for you and the other few geeks who wee in their pants every time there’s a negative post about him.
You love reaping old posts up, why not count the number of posts by each CL member on threads about Martinez and see who comes in the top 3. I’ve written 3 user names down here and bet I’m not an ants testicle out.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!6 May 2014 at 1:05 pm #130663The guy is on the windup and if for some bizarre reason he isn’t then he is one sad fucker that’s all I can say! Gotta be the former though surely!

You’ve actually counted all 800+ posts on this particular thread.

I am willing to bet anyone on whether Everton will finish in the top 6 this season let alone top 4.

Why has the EPL finished my friend? I’ve got fek all wrong yet!
There’s a long way to go and I will still put my money on Everton not making the top 6.
Well, we’re nearly at the end of the season. What do you say now?

Well I am positive that Everton will not be in the top 8 this season ! If they lose Baines and Fellaini they wont even finish in the top half !
They lost Fellaini but kept Baines.
Result; Bobby 1 – Bobsessives 0

You didn’t really think Roberto and Everton would finish in the bottom half, did you?

I said it before they got the loan players and I thought Baines would have gone to Utd with Fellaini ! At that time I actually believed that they would finish around 8th-10th!
7 May 2014 at 2:20 pm #130715Roberto now finds that bigger teams are casting envious eyes on his better players. He will have to fill any gaps that appear, as well as replace his loan players.
It all sounds very familiar. Perhaps there is yet another star waiting to be revealed in Honduras or Hamilton.
And that reminds me, good luck to Figueroa who gets his chance to play in a Cup Final.

Personally I hope Arsenal win it so that our defence was ended by the winners.
Regards Bobby and the CL. I don’t recall him saying he would do it this year just that he would do it. He’ll only fail if by the end of his contract he hasn’t.
