3 March 2019 at 6:07 pm #176796They dont score many, but dont concede many either. First job. Dont concede. Done.
Great point, results around us poor granted, but stil 2 games clear with 11 to go.
Have to agree and it was obvious what the tactic was. I’d like to have seen a bit more pace up top though to try and break quicker.

Aye. Shame a point isn’t good enough for some.
3 March 2019 at 8:21 pm #176804Rumour has it that Powell and MacManaman were left out the squad due to a fall out with Cook,
Of things to come

Can’t have been much of a fall out as Powell was sat in the West Stand with McDonald.
4 March 2019 at 5:58 pm #176821Maybe he stormed out the ground and then realised his taxi was only coming for him at 6 so he went back in

Ok, I’ll give it a go. Rumour has it… that Worriers have flexed their muscle (fat) and demanded that Powell and McManaman have to play for th’egg chasers and they won’t allow ‘um to play fot ‘tics.

5 March 2019 at 1:48 pm #176835On to tonight.Derby struggling so a slim chance to halt the dismal away rut. If Cook sets us up like Saturday then can’t see anything but a comfortable Derby win.More attack minded and we may pinch something, and I stress may.
5 March 2019 at 2:01 pm #176836I think he will setup the same and will look for another draw.
I’d take a point if i’m honest but we need to win on Saturday whatever happens.
5 March 2019 at 3:11 pm #176837Derby injury crisis make me wish Cook would go all out for 3pts but you sense it’ll be the same negative, safety 1st ,lump it forward approach and we’ll concede late goals then endure another crock of shit smoke blowing interview post match.
5 March 2019 at 3:25 pm #176838Whether you’re a manager or players in the professional game you should always go out to win, something Cookie is missing at present. We will have fans making the trip at great cost and its for them that he and the team have a bloody duty to try and win. Non of this play not to lose garbage. COYL
5 March 2019 at 3:32 pm #176839That is sort of my point with regards to attractive football or what is necessary.
Of course we want to win every game, but you have to realise that there are some games that you are probably going to get hammered in if you go all out attack so you have to be prepared to defend for large parts and try to take what you can when you can. That is pretty much what we did against City last year and I didn’t hear too much complaining. Had we decided to play against them the same way we did against say Oxford away then we would have been looking at an absolute hammering. Instead we got the win.
Derby are a much better side than us whichever way you look at it and if we go there and give them chances we will more than likely get pasted.
5 March 2019 at 3:35 pm #176841There’s 8 clubs with only 6 points between them all looking at that last play-off spot. A home loss for Derby will be a huge set back for them and a moral deflater.
Us ?, a point would be handy especially with Millwall having one eye on the FA Cup so 3 points for us would be huge.
Rotherham have an away day this Sat at Sheff Utd and a home game against Norwich in the next few weeks while Millwall next 3 League games are all away with the Cup game on the 17th.
For me tonight and Saturday could define our season, an away win would be one hell of a bonus tonight. Were up against a side who are bang out of form so I don’t see why we cant go for it.
If Millwall can I’m sure 3 points tonight isn’t beyond us. -
