Neither of them are sports, simple as. A sport is an activity where you can affect the outcome of your oponents game, neither golf or fishing are, so hence they are pastimes or games.

sport   /spɔrt, spoʊrt/ Show Spelled[spawrt, spohrt] Show IPA
      –noun
1.an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature, as racing, baseball, tennis, golf, bowling, wrestling, boxing, hunting, fishing, etc.

Moral of the story is, when you get a red card, don’t winge, get off.

Did you do that yourself, without any copying and pasting?

“If you cap United to spending a maximum amount in wages on a player & their profits leap what do you want them to do with the money??”

They could start to pay their debts off !

But basically TL, I do agree with what you’re saying

All games are “winnable” but we don’t need to win those games to stay up. Hull have games against Villa and Liverpool and also away games against Stoke and Birmingam which are difficult places to go.
WHU have games against ManCity, Liverpool and Everton and away at Fulham. They got us and Stoke at home. I don’t think the Sunderalnd games involving WHU and Hull are important.

I think it will be settled the week before May 1st.

I think that’s wishful thinking. Bolton are on a good run of home form and they have four home games to play. I can see them beating Pompey and Brum at home and they may even get something out of the home games with ManU and Villa who are now into their usual end of season meltdown.

I too think Burnely are doomed and the only question at the bottom is Hull or WHU. At the moment I think Hull are the slight favourites to go down but I think if we beat WHU then they will go, I reckon we will draw.

In my predictions I now have West Ham finishing 1 point above Hull but if we can get a win at WHU then it could send them down instead of Hull.
I agree with Garswood, dropping a place is not important to us, maintaining the points difference is and we now have clear space above 4 teams.

I can’t see Hull or Burnley getting to 30 points. Hull might get 4 more, draw at home to Fulham and beat Burnley at home but I think that’s it.
Burnley might get another point at home to Blackburn because it’s a derby but I think that’s it.
Party on boys! we’re safe again!

4-4-2 is far too conservative :D

I’d go for the 4-3-3 that he normally employs when going forward ;)

Yes and if you understand the politics of the era, the state the country was left in when labour were kicked out, there was little the tories could do.

I suspect that in 12 months, you will try and blame the tories for the debt that the country now holds.

Labour borrowed £132Billion this financial year. We could have just given away £1m to each of 138,000 people. !

As much as you just want to hate the tory politicians (I personally think they are just as bad), dont believe the hype Labour will try and con you into thinking…

You suspect what you like. I posted the facts without any comment simply to disprove some misinformation.

Slag Maggie Thatcher as much as you like,it was never like this when she was holding the purse strings!

13 years of New Labour combined with 70 years of Labour Councils and the brainless people of Wigan are reaping their rewards!!
