Can’t believe some of you lot are still moaning? For crying out loud, one defeat in 7 with away wins at Liverpool and Bolton, what the hell do you want?
We wanted the team to give 100%, they,re doing it. We wanted an improvement in form, we’ve got it.
We wanted an improvement in atmosphere, we’ve got it.
We wanted to instill belief, 1 point from safety we’ve got it.I’ll be asking real questions and trying to inspire confidence and build up towards Saturdays meet n greet versus Stoke, not doing my best to ruin it. :P
I don’t know which part of the ground you sit in but the atmosphere isn’t exactly fever pitch is it !! So anyhow re questions to Bob. What you gonna ask him then ” Hows the family ? “
Babis, you could ask him to provide vuvuzelas for all the fans, low pitch for dark side high pitched for light, be a cracking atmosphere then!
Seriously, I would ask him, what would win in a fight between a badger and a raccoon, you might aswell get some usable knowledge from it, because you’ll get fuck all else out of him, no matter what you ask!

Are you some sort of cult leader !! :P
Think you spelt cult wrong fil ;)
you say sky money but is isn’t on a par with the Premier league money last time I heard of a contract with sky for Super league was about £80 million over four yearsOf course it isn’t on a par with prem money, not even on the same planet, but a thugby player won’t earn in a year what some footballers get in a week!
It’s all relative, a super league rugby clubs income is nothing like a premier league football clubs, but their outgoings are nothing like either, they will however, get money from the same streams, gate money, sky money, sponsorship and merchandise, just a hell of a lot less as its only people from lancs and yorks who watch the bloody thing! Not a clue, but they will get money from sky and sponsorship money etc.
Point is, whatever the cap is, it should be stuck to, then it should be impossible to end up bankrupt, if they’re going to pay monies out the back door, which they can’t afford to pay, then they deserve everything they get! That pitch is cutting up do they play rugger on it ?It’s that Italian defender grass, specially grown to be advantageous to defenders, alot of the Italian clubs use it, as for some reason there’s been a shortage in quality attacking players in Italy of late, but shed loads of world class defenders, aswell as centre halves that have been around since Moses was a lad, Nesta was playing when I was a foetus!! And that seedorf goes back further than John the baptist!
I think it was reported in one of the papers that Andy Carroll cost more than the cost of the DW and the starting XI combined on SaturdayBollocks! How can one breeze block be worth more than 40,000 breeze blocks?
Can someone ask Bobby where he gets his nice brown shoes, and does he care what the supporters think? And if so, does he care more about the opinion of stalwart supporters or newer fans that expect too much?
I thought the salary cap was meant to stop things like this happening. If any of the clubs abided by the cap it might do, but they don’t, there’s all kinds of ways they can pay players without actually ‘paying’ them, the board have got a lot to answer for there, and the RFL is nothing but a joke, I think they’ve had ideas above their station, investing in clubs in London and Wales, which is a futile experiment, at the expense of clubs in the league heartland like Halifax and featherstone etc etc. as soon as they realise that the only serious interest in the game is in 2 counties in England and then on a continent far far away, they might just have a game left to govern in 10 years, carry on pissing about trying to spread the word and the professional element will surely die.
I wouldnt be surprised if this years twist in the tale sees villa dragged into it, horrible run of fixtures, and it would be so ironic if Mcleish does a midlands double and takes villa down, stranger things have happened!
Something we agree on !!!! I have been saying that for ages now !!
I actually agree with a few things you’ve said fil, I just like being an annoying sod so I’ll happily disagree just to get a rise out of you ;)
Stelling just mentioned it too, they’re in trouble no doubt, and footie always throws up these stories, the Mcleish thing would be just too funny for words, big time Charlie stepping ‘up’ to a massive club that goes down. The blue noses will just love it if the unthinkable happens, and its a possibility that they’ll only finish with 37/38 points. Funny old game that’s for sure.

We lost seven out of our last ten games under Bruce while only winning one…We were clearly a team in decline under Bruce and he knew it too.
But he did have the backbone of his team sold from under him in January, debilitating, demoralising and the ambitions and future workings of the club were set out right there and then.

Not at ‘lonely housewives here for you’ it’s not!
Fil, off topic, but do you use these new fan dangled window cleaning machines? Sacked our window cleaner, because he was cleaning em from 50 yards away with a bloody big pole, no sign of a ladder! I like to be able to see properly from the windows of my ivory tower ;)
The pole system which uses pure water ( Reverse osmosis ) is ok for office blocks ( Or ivory towers ! ) and the sort but not for residential use in my view, besides I can do the job quicker with a ladder than pissing about with all that pipe and then there is the tank and deionizing kit to pull around ! I would imagine that they don’t remove bird shit either that believe you me sometimes is like it has been spot welded to the glass !! Not sure any method will be able to clean rose tinted glasses though ! B)
Dude, I’m so chilled out and happy with life, I think I’ve got rose tinted cornea! I think one of them leyland shitehawks must have shit in your eye though, if you can’t see that Bobby is one of the best young managers around
