anyway, I would agree with your rant wholeheartedly. The few minutes we were allowed to grace the screen (I could have sworn I saw ‘Linikarse’ cringing at the prospect of even mentioning Wigan….) every shot was about Liverpool attacking. They must have (of) shown every Liverpool attempt on goal and only two of ours…..yet during their ‘stats’ report at the end (the little graphic in the bottom corner) clearly showed that we had equal attempts at 10 apiece.
Linikarse couldn’t wait to ‘move on’ from a good game (as confirmed in a one line sentence from Hansen) before he turned the conversation to Suarez………if this tosser cannot be responsible for unbiased reporting (and I extend this to the whole production team) then they should cashiered from their job as ‘ambassadors for the sport/profession’ as they make (if this is at all possible) the BBC look more unimportant and off kilter than they already do.

The charge of Misconduct is irrelevant……and you well know it. He (oh! can I capitalise?) IS a racist and yes I did boo the cheating, diving, racist get.

I have had a smart arse sponsor give me two tickets to ‘raffle off’ for the game today. The tickets landed on my door step this morning giving me loads of time to arrange a competition….If anybody wants them I will give them to the first to email on jayt@cockneylatic.co.uk, I’ll meet at the Supporters Club Bar before the game…

Fingers crossed Mr C, although after Saturday, I am filled with a renewed optimism.On another note, there’s the likelihood that I’m going for pre-match drinks with seven other Wigan folk, although, I will be the only Wigan Athletic supporter amongst them.
Is there another town in the UK where such a scenario may occur? There can’t be many places with a top class football team but where you are just as likely, if not more likely, to meet someone supporting a rival team as you are of someone supporting your town’s team.
Mr Standish…there is no shame in going out for a drink with seven Fleetwood Town FC supporters – they are, after all, an up and coming Northern Team (great result away against Newport)
