Call me old fashioned Griff but I mentioned it earlier. It’s called “Primacy of Tenure”….allowing us ‘The Latics’ to control our ability to meet our fixture list and accommodate any necessary changes to fixtures. – We have first call and tenants have to do as they’re told.

I was trying to let our hoop-shirted friend down gently.

You know, making him question why, if there is no legal basis why this keeps happening, does it simply keep happening?
Sorry fella…didn’t see what you were doing there.

I normally like to keep them going by asking them to check whether the light goes out when the fridge door closes…………….keeps some of them going for days.

…….and they still get it wrong

I suspect the much fabled transfer of ownership paperwork has been locked away in the much fabled war chest.

Neither has seen the light of day.

Both of these things may well be fables. What is not in doubt is that every time Latics want the rugby to move a fixture, they move. Therefore, whatever its source, it is clear that Latics do exert control over the rugby in terms of fixture priority.
You would presume the stadium lease contract states Latics take priority in these situations.

Its our ground, and the eggs are our tennants, of course the Latics take priority.
You are quite right Mr Horc…it’s called “Primacy of Tenure”………..

which means a club being able to control its ability to meet a fixture list and accommodate necessary changes to fixtures. I feel that Mr Nine whatever in a row may be again disappointed in September – oh dear how sad.

My sincere apologies for the brusqueness of my post. I honestly have nothing but admiration for ‘the team’ that maintain this excellent site.

We are all ‘b1tchin’ about the teams performance and how we would see a different team perform against Slovenia. To your attention, gentlemen (and ladies who lurk) I mention the pictures of Capello walking off at half time shaking his head (which was bowed) glum faced. If it were me (or is that I) then I would have been stood on the line getting the team in (in a forceful manner) and explaining the ‘error of their ways’ (bl00dy overpaid primadonnas).

                    My substitution is:

Cappello off…………………… Venables on (baggage and all)

There you go (bollux and controversial) but our results will be reflected by his decision making/taking manner.

Oh my god get a grip. I am not a culprit of spamming and all my posts are rlevant more or less. So I suggest you stop crying and wait for this thread to get removed.

There is some debate about the source of the term, but the generally accepted version is that it comes from the Monty Python song, “Spam spam spam spam, spam spam spam spam, lovely spam, wonderful spam…” Like the song, spam is an endless repetition of worthless text. Another school of thought maintains that it comes from the computer group lab at the University of Southern California who gave it the name because it has many of the same characteristics as the lunchmeat Spam:

Nobody wants it or ever asks for it.
No one ever eats it; it is the first item to be pushed to the side when eating the entree.
Sometimes it is actually tasty, like 1% of junk mail that is really useful to some people.

“…spam is an endless repetition of worthless text.”

I’d say pretty much guilty as charged there, Jimmy lad.
……………or it’s an acronym for:

                      Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages

either way it just gets right on my p@ps……

The answer you intended was squirrel though wasn’t it?

Thank you Mr Geller for that insight into ‘mentalism’……….I am better informed but none the wiser.

No! That is not what was intended as it wouldn’t have made sense.

                          What’s got a hazelnut in every bite……..?

…………………or should this be a seperate teaser thread question?

Squirrels don’t solely eat and live on Hazelnuts, therefore your teaser is not accurate.
Thank you Mr Oddie for that ‘Autumnwatch’ moment………I am better informed but none the wiser.

Pray tell me where I intimated, in my question above, that it had anything to do with squirrels, the answer could have been…….

                          …………………a hazelnut. :?

You really must keep up you know.
