CJ de Mooi.
I don’t think I would ever tire of repeatedly kicking him in his smarmy little face.
Bloody hell Jungle – I was looking forward to Sunday.
There’s no point in watching the game now that I know what’s going to happen.
Programmes are £4 with a free leather wallet:mrgreen:
Damn Martinez and his marketing strategies!
Who told him that he’s a midfielder?! If Kirkland said that he fancied a game up-front, we wouldn’t pander to his crazy whims.
I’ll miss him. He was a genuine character and it’s nice to have an odd-ball amongst the Premier League’s generic, factory produced morons that populate the division. But his level (as a midfielder) is probably Stoke, where footballing ability comes second to physicality.
Vlad > Massimo Taibi and Pegguy Arpexhead.
I can imagine Stojkovic being considered decent on the continent, where defenders are used to their keeper flapping and punching at everything, and boxes aren’t as crowded as in the Premiership. Here, he is beyond useless. Bless him though. I felt really sorry for him on Monday.
Bullard?! :o

It’s extremely attacking, but undoubtedly awful.
Pedestrian fraudster – Dodgy ticker – Ginger Irish Scot – Nutcase – Hugo Rodallega.
We’re so cool. Like the Renford Rejects.
We’re not going to get a better keeper than Kirkland, especially given that next season we’ll have to register 8 homegrown players.
I sincerely hope Stojkovic doesn’t sign a new deal. I was in Rome for the City game and talking to a Serb outside the Colosseum about Vlad’s performance the night before. He told me that Serbs have started watching Wigan because of him, but he’s nowhere near good enough for the Premier League – I think we all can and should take that as gospel.
It was a couple of week ago when the amnesty came in so he’ll be alright.
Caldwell’s back now too – do you drop Steve?
About two minutes before Watson’s goal, I turned to my sister and said that this was the most boring half of football that I’ve seen in a good while.
could this mon be another gem ?I signed him for Gladbach on Football Manager 2007 so I’m claiming it as my find. 8-)
I’m lost for words.
Definitely. He was extremely impressive.
Scharner has no place playing so far advanced in a side hoping to pass it about and Scotland just cannot play up front on his own in the Premiership.
To play 4-2-3-1, you require a lot of movement from the front four, but Scotland was just running off Wilson onto Rocha and they found it comfortable to keep order. We need to either have somebody further forward alongside Scotland, or have the man playing off him to make penetrative runs beyond the defence and create space – the lack of which has made us look severely impotent all season.
If we continue with this lack of movement, we’ll never score goals; not even against Portsmouth reserves. We just can’t hope to win via passing and maintain a rigid formation at the same time otherwise we become very one-dimensional.
However, I hope Martinez just realises this and fixes it rather than leave.
If one good thing comes from tonight it’s that Austrian ponce won’t be seen again in the shirt. Bye bye to a big club – Young Boys Berne perhaps :shock:They’re Swiss mate: I fail to see the correlation.
Scharner was poor tonight, and whoever told him (or Bobby) that he’s a midfielder needs shooting in the face. However, booing him as he left the field is simply not on. He’s our longest serving player and somebody who is willing to stick his head and foot in (something which a lot on here bemoan a lack of in our current squad).
If we lose 8-0, booing our own players would still be wrong.
