John Bishop is pretty good for a scouser anyway.
It may well be down to my uncouth hearing, but I cannot understand a single word the man says. This is the case with most Scousers, mind, but Bishop is just incoherent to extremes.
Yeah they have played that rambling man quite a lot…Is atrocious.. And one other of hers comes on too..which is also atrocious… Saying that I like Miley Cyrus (Maybe not for her songs though ;) )… Liked that Kaci in the first video ‘Paradise’ she did too ;)You’re likening her to those two?
Marling is the epitome of ‘new-folk’.
Kaci though. 8-)
If you liked him in mock the week and he does the same in stand up…Why don’t you like his stand up? Or was it that you was disappointed that he only did the same things?Yeah, it was just because I’d heard it all before. If it was new material then it would have been excellent. His book is a bit meh as well.
The US version is quite possibly the best sitcom on TV at the moment.I concur. I think it has the best and most well written characters of any comedy programme. And I have an unerring affection for Pam.
That womans songs and voice bore the life out of me. Radio 1 keep playing her…It’s normally all good music til she comes on :shock:I’d have to disagree. I’ve had ‘Alas I Cannot Swim’ and ‘I Speak Because I Can’ almost on a constant loop for the past fortnight – they’re both just fantastic albums. Although, I think it’s ‘Rambling Man’ that Radio 1 keep playing at the minute and that is a bit demure for the radio.
Laura Marling – erm. . . give Devil’s Spoke a listen.
I didn’t like Frankie Boyle’s stand up. It was just like a collection of things that he’s said on Mock the Week. He was fantastic on that programme though.
“Do you reckon that Emile Heskey just holds the ball up when he plays in his back-garden? Whilst his neighbour leans over the fence yelling ‘Booooo!!'” – Best thing he has come out with.
Gervais is excellent, James. He’s done four stand-ups now and they’ve all been bang on – I went watching the last two in Blackpool and I haven’t laughed as much in all my life. He was supported by Stewart Francis for ‘Science’ too, who was equally as funny.
I really don’t have hope for us though as after looking at the stages breakdown it’s likely we’d face Brazil or Spain en route or even in the final. I mean it’s the kind of World Cup run I’d want to see but it does scupper our chances a bit! :lol:I don’t fancy our chances much either.
Isn’t it Serbia or Germany if we go through? If it is, then I can’t see us beating either.

I fancy Italy.
They should top a group of Paraguay, New Zealand and Slovakia, and I think their mix of some of the most experienced and decorated footballers in the world with the new blood that’s coming through (Rossi, Candreva and Marchisio for example) give them an extremely strong squad. And in Lippi, they have a genuinely world class manager.
I have a feeling that they’ll pull off something similar to 2006.

Boyce – Gohouri – Bramble (c) – Figueroa is my ideal backline.
I shall never understand a person’s desire to publicise their mundane life on the internet.

I think we’ve got to the stage that every Spanish player capable of kicking a football is getting linked with us; except the good ones.
If we signed just two or three players but got rid of all the dross, I think I’d be content.

I’m quite glad we didn’t get him.
15 goals in 29 games in Spain’s second tier this season, yet he managed only one start for Villarreal’s first team (at the Bernabéu, in something of a sacrificial appearance) and 29 minutes as a substitute spread over three games.
If we’d have paid £7 million for him, I’d have gone mental.
He has played for Argentina though, in an unofficial warm-up game for the Olympics, though Maradona’s squad selection is scatter-gun at best.
17 May 2010 at 2:32 pm in reply to: Transfer news, paper talk, who you want – get it all in here #33748Not as good as his brother which is a worrying prospect…. Last thing we want to be doing is bringing back together the newcastle defence of a few seasons back….We’re good at turning Newcastle flops into megastars – Caldwell, Bramble and N’Zogbia.
However, Steven hasn’t looked very good when I’ve seen him, and we don’t really need another centre-half, do we? Bramble, Caldwell, Gohouri, Alcaraz and Boyce should suffice.
And Amaya. 8-)
