Yep I do think he would be that greedy. But I think it may be more of a case of sell before you buy, as we are being linked to a spainish under 21 left back for 4m (in yesterdays sun so it must be true)
Beckford has scored one goal against a prem side. Granted it’s one more than scotland but one goal does not make a season and as yet he is unproven at champ level.
With that said I still cant see old ken selling him even with only 6
months left on his contract. He is their meal ticket to the championship. This alone would increase their gates plus with them not havin to fork out 250k aweek on wages for players who no longer play there anymore it would have to be a huge offer to get him away. I should pick the right number tonight but I won’t. tis all too late when the whisle blowsI wouldn’t get too carried away with McGeady now, yes he has the ability to get forward and beat players with easy.. but he has a big problem in delivering that final ball into the box.. lost count of the amount of times he did it for the republic only to screw up at the end…. but then again with the right training..
