The 3 keepers we’re going to take aren’t injury prone, I think we shouldn’t take Hart.

I don’t think anybody is going to buy the DVD and want to re-live the 9-1 and 8-0 batterings, do you? Those games are best kept locked up in the deeper recesses of my mind, only to be brought up when asked if I remember them, to which I will simply reply: “yes”.

Are we on about The Season Review 09/10 or We Did It 3 Times ?

Martinez has only just returned from completing a coaching course, I’m sure that before the world cup we’ll officially sign someone else as non of the players were linked with are going to World Cup.

                      16) Portsmouth’s run of six consecutive losses was the worst start any club has madein Premier League history. No other team has lost all six of their opening games. You have to go back 26 years for the last time a team lost their opening six games in the top flight – Leicester in 1983/84.

                      17) Jermain Defoe’s five-goal haul in that game matched Andy Cole’s five against Ipswich in 1994/95 and Alan Shearer’s five against Sheffield Wednesday in 1999/00. All three failed to finish those particular seasons as Premier League top scorer.

                      18) Darren Bent’s goal against Arsenal meant he had scored against all of the “Big Four”in the same season. The last man to score against Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United in a single Premier League season was former Bolton striker Michael Ricketts in 2001/02

                      19) Fernando Torres scored his 50th Premier League goal in his 72nd Premier League game, making him the fourth fastest 50-goal man in the competition’s history.

                            12) Manchester United’s defeat to Bayern Munich ended their run of 17 unbeaten away gamesin the Champions League.

                            13) Jose Mourinho became the third man to win the Champions League with two different clubs. The others are Ernst Happel (Feyenoord and Hamburg) and Ottmar Hitzfeld (Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich).

                            14) Ryan Giggs became the 17th player to score 100 Premier League goals, but he needed 534 games to do it – more than the other 16.

                            15) Arsenal took their goal tally to 29 in nine Premier League games, equalling the best tally from the first nine gamesof any team in any Premier League season – matching the 29 Arsenal themselves managed in 2004. Four of those goals came against non other than WIGAN !

                              9) Manyor Figueroa’s goal for Wigan against Stoke became the third longest range goalin Premier League history at 60.59 yards. Paul Robinson’s 84.74-yard free-kick for Tottenham against Watford in 2007 is by far the longest range goal ever in the Premier League.

                              10) Manchester United and Liverpool were both knocked out of the FA Cupin the third round for the first time since 1958/59.

The season has ended and I am happy overall. Think we had high and low points but am glad we avoided relegation and get to go again next season.

I ma up now for a COMPLETE fresh start, as people may know I am not a fan of Scotland whatsoever, but am up for giving him a new chance, a clean slate to prove himself, and I will not whinge or moan if/when he starts next season.

As for Gomez, like JRfatfan said before, He clearly has the talent to do well and I definately want us to keep hold of him, I like him and I also think he will be a big player for us next season.

Can’t wait for the 10/11 season and what it has in store for the lads and its faithful!

I agree with what you said about Gomez, his performance against Hull City was decent and if the team could play around him more we’ll see him show us what he’s got.
