i would of took him off sooner he was shat today
Any person who now thinks we dont have a chance of being relegated is seriously deluded and they mustnt go to many games.
15 games left and the equivalent 5 possibly 6 wins needed out of those. Can we get them ?
Im not sure when you have a manager that buys two new strikers and then doesnt start with either in a six pointer relegation match. He keeps playing these weird formations that dont get results and certain players please themselves now playing silly hoofed curved passes out to the wing and a total lack of dicipline on the pitch seems to be the norm in my view.
The alleged dissentation in the camp is now being talked about across the town and that on its own is very worrying.
My view at the moment particularly with Burnley and Hull notching fine wins today is that we are going down unless major changes are made.I cant stress enough how important that game on tuesday is but it our biggest game in years an absolute make or break!
Talking sh’t and posing on telly wont save us we are in the fight big time and im wondering if the reality of the situation has kicked in with Roberto and co yet?
Again very very worrying!another door handle :!: in resposne to us signing 2 strikers and not starting with any of them, why didnt elephant head start benjarni when the mackems are on a poorer run than us :?:
Pains me to say it, but I can see no light at the end of this very long tunnel.
Against County at County, the first signs of unrest from players arguing with each other. Today Rodallega leaves the pitch with one serious strop.
It seems the players either do not want, or cant play the rubbish Martinez is trying.
Today I was expecting 2 up front with one of our new signings out on the left wing. But what did we actually get?
Yet again, as has been the case so often, glaring misses and failure to put the ball in the net is costing us dearly. From missing an almost open goal to conceding at the other within the space of 3 mins.
Against Everton was the same.
Why did we not start with Moses on left, NZogbia on right and plaster the penalty box with crosses?
Martinez obviously didnt think Moses was up to starting, well why not? If he doesn’t think hes up to facing a team whose not won in 10, is he trying to say hes wasted our money again?
We should have killed the game off today, but Martinez had other ideas. I was thinking bring Moses on and put him alongside Rodallega. But no, brings Moses on and takes Rodallega off.
The guy has not got a clue what he’s doing and I can see relegation at the end of this season.
Any other manager would have been given the boot now, Hutchings was given 4 matches then up the road you go.
This bloke is still here due to misplaced loyalty. If he really cared about the club, he would resign and take Jones and Barrow with him.you are a total door handle :!: rodney was crap today and when he watches the game he will see he has no case to argue. You keep comeing on here spouting rubbish, you asked why didnt he start with moses, well here is the sucker punch, its actually 1 of your comments hes no premiership experiance(isnt that what you keep saying about bob) so why should moses walk streight into the team.elephant heads days will soon be over up the,the response at the end proved that
Sooner shag Sally, meself. :lol:nafdan and tics lad have been dumped by hayley and thats why they keep coming on here venting there anger
the darkside want to read this article, elephant heads team are shitter than bobbys,i wonder if they would be shouting for elephant head for the sack :!:
Stay, it shouldn’t even be a debate, yes he probably needs someone with premier league coaching experience to help him, but he needs time to mold the squad.I’d ask the “Martinez out” brigade 2 questions.
1) Can you name a side that sacked a manager after 22 league games and went on to achieve what was success for that club in the long run?
2) Spot the managerial connection between 2 results:
FA Cup – Wigan 0 Canvey Island 2
Premier League 2006 – Wigan 1 Sunderland 0I rest my case about giving a manager time to build a squad and club into his ways.
the darkside brigade are probably the same ones who where shouting for jewells head when he 1st took over, things wernt so good then and look what he went on to achieve
STAY
they really are an evil mob
vampires—-only come out at night—-fear—garlic,holy water,crosses
weirwolfs—only come out on full moons–fear–silver bullet,
dark side—only come out after bad results–fear—good results anything positive to do with laticsI can’t believe everyone is saying sack Bobby!!!!
What because we lost last night, so what we need to be concentrating on the league. I agree sometimes his tactics confuse me and the 4-5-1 everyone keeps slating is meant to be adaptable to a 4-3-3 with the 2 wide men tracking back into midfield to assist. There only tactically issue I think Bobby is struggling with is a plan B so when the formation isn’t working we need to change. The guy is still learning and said him self he would need 3 transfer windows to build the team he wants and change the way we play. I said at the start of the season I hope we give Bobby a chance and don’t sack him when the going gets tough, I do believe we will stay up this season. This season should be about staying in the league, letting Bobby put is own stamp on the club, build a team he wants and let him learn about managing in the Premier league.
They are too many Wigan fans think we are a bigger club than we are and when it gets tough start wanting the manager sacked or Whelan out. We should all rally together and support the club we love, lets build something. Sir Alex didn’t have the greatest start to top flight English football because he needed a year to put his own stamp on things.
Well said, mate. Fact is, whether you admit it or not, we are a tin-pot club, compared to everyone wlse in this league. The fact that we’ve lost 5000 of our home support shows just how ‘great’ some of these fans really are. (We had approximately 16000 home fans V Sunderland, in November. On Saturday, we had approximately 11,000. Shocking)
I think that potentially, Roberto could create a dynasty here. He just need time to implement it.[/quote]
i also agree,as i have already stated in another thread i will not judge bob this season,a new manager coming in needs time to build his team, this season for me is about bobby keeping us up and then next season see what he can do.Some of the posts on here are a joke, lets go back to when whelan 1st took over and we were swapping managers every week. The people who are shouting for bobs head would be happy to have benson on the bench and lindsey as his number 2 thats if they were there when benson was bossi have read various posts on here slateing certain players off and no one as said anything about bramble,he had a nightmare, time and time again he was caught in a world of his own.All credit to county they came with a game plan and it work for them
dont want to p i s s on your parade, but it wont work, what about the supporter who buys is ticket from the office because he cant pay up front,i know people from springy days who still do it due to work commitments
he have to sit on steps, bench might not support him ;)
just a rumour but i heard newcastle might up the bid to £3million plus addons, but i think the prem might be his destination ,must admit im not quite sure about this one .look at thread……..done
Will he bring the ten commandments with him ?I’ll start:
1) Thou shalt play 4,4,2 at home
Cue
2) thou shall defend free kicks and corners
warnock says its a done deal
