who grabbed the manager of the month for april?
or has it not been given!
2 more with me due to popular demand.Blackburn have the option to give more tickets, they needed a point against United last season and gave them 7000 so why when they need points do they not give us the top and half the bottom?
Before someone says they have season tickets in that end, Man United do in the away end they give teams for the cup games and as at United they have opt in for cup games they just move the season ticket holder to another part of the ground so this could be done at Blackburn.
They could have given us more tickets and didn’t.
You’re sounding a little like Alan Pardew there..!! I think Blackburn are well in their right to give us what ever they like.
It’ll be a bouncing atmosphere regardless.
Stam is an excellent player and probly the best crosser of a ball in the premier league.Eh?
He’s a good crosser but that statement is a little enthusiastic.
The whole team!
al habsi – what a save
boyce – what a cross
figgy – stunning
caldwell and alcy – solid
jimmy Mac’s – brilliant
bousojour – he and Maloney have made the difference since January
Maloney – speechless
Moses – finished his moves
Di santo – didn’t need a deflectionMade newcastle look like a championship side – ecstasy
For me Maloney simple for the way he makes us tick in midfield and forward. I would have no complaints with McCarthur as i thought he was outstanding today. worked so so hard. another one of our unsung heroes’
ive been critical of mccarthy of recent games, but i think he was ultra disciplined today and it showed in our control of the pitch. I am of course ignoring his blatant two footed lunge. (well from where i was sat anyway)
top marks to roberto and the boys for simply making latics a champions league standard footballing team. FACT ;)
Im also glad as no doubt wiganmon will still be happy.
The crowd today were magnificent…….………hairs on the back of the neck stuff.
agreed :silly:
get mac’s signed up, get diame signed up, lose Boselli’s flight tickets back to UK, sort moses get a young decent centre back oh and someone who knows where the opposing goal mouth is and we’re in for a humdinger of a season.
get charlie back too.
this management malarky is pretty simple really. not sure what all the fuss is about.
Is this you Pardew? In that case, please under estimate us. We are playing crap and you should definitely play your second string.
Given Tottenham’s demise and Chelsea in an FA cup Final and possible Champions league final, you should be ok giving us the three points and in return we have a few players you may be interested in.
Top of the list is Connor Sammon who we would let go for a lot less than £35 million and you would have first dibs.
Can’t say fairer than that.
 goodpost
ive heard rumours on other boards such as holloway coming if blackpool dont get promotion and if Martinez has the job to go to.
think its all rubbish.
i believe we have at least another season with bobby. the fact Gomez signed 2 years recently suggests his manager is also committed to the forseeable future.
im glad may i add.
If we stay up
If we keep Bobby
If we can maintain squadnext season could be a bobby dazzler….
….the clubs chief executive said ..” We are the guardians of the football club whilst we’re here and so will protect our property. And our property in the digital age involves our intellectual property , so we won’t allow anybody to come in and take it from us ”Shut up you tart !!
goodpost goodpost goodpost
Am i missing something here, or has this young lad done nothing wrong?
he simply put a picture off his clubs website on twitter?
to talk about how they will protect their club is a bit far isnt it?
Yossi would be pretty handy to have.
didnt realise maynor and diame were up for expiring. Be a good transfer window if we can get diame to stay.
Banjo fair shout that. i may be too harsh to suggest he can go and it have no impact.
its also nice to see a discussion going on for once without name calling, backbiting, fishing strategies and martinez hating.
well done chaps.
the world is a happy place (for now) :cheer:
Doesn’t take these agents long to smell a pot of gold does it? Strange he chose an African website to exclusively reveal this.Nigeria international, Victor Moses on Wednesday turned down an offer to extend his contract at Wigan Athletic, SuperSport.com can report.
The 21-year-old has just a year left on his contract at the Latics.
The player’s agent, Tony Finnigan, told SuperSport.com on Wednesday that his client does not his contract at Wigan Athletic extended.
“This is how it works here (in England). Victor Moses has just a year left on his contract with Wigan Athletic and we were about to start talks on the extension when he said he does not want to sign a new deal,” Finnigan said.
Several English Premier League clubs have been alerted since the start of this year following the failure of the Latics to convince Moses to extend his stay at the club.
On Monday, Aston Villa were the latest to track the Super Eagles’ striker as they reportedly had their chief scout, Glenn Roeder at the Emirates Stadium to watch the youngster inspire his team to a 2-1 win over Arsenal.
Finnigan said “virtually every club in the (English) Premier League want to sign him.”
He pointed out that the attacking winger is in the class of the most wanted footballers in the English top flight.
“Victor Moses has played himself into a position where virtually every club in the Premier League want to sign him. All of the Premier League clubs will be strengthening in the summer and we are not surprised that Moses has been linked with virtually every team in the top division,” the Englishman remarked.
Moses has been linked with Liverpool, Newcastle United, Sunderland and Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Crystal Palace man has made more than 30 appearances for Wigan this term and has scored four goals.
Moses was signed by Wigan from Crystal Palace for a transfer fee of £2.5 million in 2010.
Nice work Tony goodpost
I see Tony is upto his old tricks again. probably smelling another percentage cut.
In all honesty i will not be that bothered if Moses decides to part company. It took him a very long time to actually get established and break into Martinez’s way of playing. For me he has been ok but nothing close to what we have had in n’zogbia and valencia.
not sure on his contribution in way of goals and assists this season, maybe someone could throw them up, but i dont recall him being so good that every team in the premierleague will be after him.
Still HAPPY :PSee it’s not so hard is it; to just play nice and be part of a happy family.
No drugs required either wiganmon. You’ve got to admit you’re in a good place at present.
dont want to put a downer on the man u game but
am i the only one that thinks united let us win the game and did not try to win it because of the injusice done against chelsea
after all united were eight points clear and certs to win the prem anywayReally…? Really…?
you really believe that?
