Personally think Boyce is one of the most natural defenders we have. He also looks to fire in some dangerous balls across when getting chance. Should be a regular.
He can’t really win can he!! Condemned for remaining silent or ridiculed for any comment made. Makes you wonder why he bothered in the first place. :angry-banghead:
Not sure really. As I watched it, nani played one two nearer the half way line with Watson right on top of him. He began to track back and left nani to just make his way into our third unmarked. I felt Watson could have done better. Hence my criticism of the boy. The end.
APart from letting nani run free for their first goal. Watson poor in my eyes.
i heard somethin similar. think he has scored nine. however , a fantastic return from your forward line.
no doubting the little mexican has an eye for goal.
Considering the hype that came with the moses signing. He has nowhere near fulfilled his potential. Not a premiership footballer in my eyes. If he is, then he needs to start showing it as his performances are more often than not below average.
Sorry, I’ve not got the hang of this quote Thingy yet. My bit was the Moses should have come off cause not fit and was poor, bit. :happy-partydance:
Explain the logic….Moses is a threat all the first half, gave O’Shea the runaround and 5live commentators saying how Martinez team talk should be focussed on ‘get the the ball to Moses in the second half’….no..no.no not in Bobby world…
Bobby logic kicks in when we are still in the game at 1 0 down. Lets negate our opportunities..Take Moses off after 65 , lose the width, pace and breakaway threat he brings and replace him with a toothless, forward who has scored 1 goal in 50 odd premier games
I thought Moses was poor today. I would have taken him off also. However, his fitness played a big part in bobbys decision to take him off. I don’t think the boy is match fit yet
Oh and Bobby did the same tactical masterstroke at Bolton away as well when Moses has Ricketts on toast…Thanks Bob….I obviously have a lot to learn about tactics,
Think Benson leaving had more to do with his medical status than a spat with Bobby.

Cant think of too many shocking defenders at this moment. I reserve the right to add these at a later date. also apologies for spelling. im rushing!! my popcorn chicken is done in the oven.
I really do have some great memories of the big man. If you watch the dvd with his goals, he scored some classics. Admittedly he left on a sour note; but i have nothing but good memories. His goal against bristol city in a very young JJB stadium is one in particular i will remember.
I think Diame on his day, looks a bloody belter. Easily best we have. However; his day doesnt come along often. Still he is only young lad. good for future if we can stay up. Also hope we can get Cleverly and McCarthy to stay. Good solid midfield. bit of steel. :happy-partydance:
i dont think its actually Ali’s decision of whether he stays or not. So dont think that should be a reason for offering captaincy.
McCarthy for me is the best option. I dont personally rate Alcarez as a player so dont think he would do a good job as captain. considering the hype when we signed him, he has been slightly disappointing. lacking pace, no leadership qualities, easy beatable in the air. positionally not bad, but again pace lets him down.
only my opinion, so please dont start shouting at me. I have had a long day today.
I’m sure McCarthy would be a great captain when he’s older, but he’s still a big young in my opinion.[/quote]
I think his age is a bonus. Young, energetic, enthusiastic, no fear, passionate about his game. Also seems to be a leader on the park.
great signing. Just goes to show you dont need to spend millions for quality.
Gerrard played last time at our place and we bounced em’ all over the show!!!
if Gerrard isnt in the mood then he is shoite. same as lamps.
