Personally, don’t think our midfield is strong enough to go to a 4-4-2. Both in retention and distribution we lack the personel to hold a competitive four man midfield.
Diame and mcCarthy are very exciting prospects but i think they are not streetwise to premier league to be left alone in the middle. Hendry in my eyes is not good enough, but seeing as he was not actually a Martinez signing. We may probably see him move to Sunderland in the summer anyway.
still think the future has potential to be very rosey though.

3 months of a window in relation to players 4 – 5 yr contracts is nothing.
you cannot ship out all the crap we have in one window and bring in a whole new squad.

Bruce made some very very bad signings – Kapo, DeRidder, Cho, Watson, King (6million), – Bruce made as many bad signings as he did good ones.
Bobby has had very little transfer window to work with. How can we be judging him at all. Give him time. Give him a few transfer windows to work with and then we can start to ask questions.
Bobby is still working with a team set up by hutchings and bruce – and there is a lot of poor quality in there!!!
