What sort of comments did you want?

‘Hi Dave, thanks for your incredibly funny post. It’s really brightened up my day. You’re so great. Please post more. Thanks again’

I posted one of my all time favourite jokes on the joke thread and not a single person acknowledged or thanked me for it. Gutted I was. I threw my doll out of the pram and told the good people of the board that I thought they were a bunch of inbred illegitimate children because they hadn’t responded.

Pffffffft. There was nothing light-hearted about your self-centred post. You are the one who needs to get a grip/life.

Definitely Guinness. Have to pour it right though ;) Some chance. Not really a Magners man but being the vogue drink, they’d shift loads of it.

Not bothered about McDonalds (TM) but I’d be surprised if they’d open or invest in a place that is effectively open an average of two to three hours a week.

I think actually you’ll find that until yesterday, I hadn’t even been on the bloody site for weeks! So that makes a mockery of that statement!

It would seem the more sensible people are staying away. Is it any wonder with statements and comments like that? Deary, deary, me. No. Let me pick apart your statement.

“Monopoly of the board”- Great, if I have a monopoly on here despite not posting for weeks. That clearly shows that you people are not worthy.

“Ripping Yarns”- Your jealousy is thunderous. Just because I know something you don’t……no need to be like the child the gang won’t play with. (Aww diddums)

“Air of self-importance”- Why, because I have an opinion and have more sense and Latics when it comes to football and Latics than most people on here? Sorry if that’s a crime. That’s not being ‘self-important’, that is stating a fact.
But we are talking about a bunch of muppets here. (You know who you are, and I don’t mean everybody. There are a select few people on here who I actually respect, and again, they’ll know who I mean.)
But those people are bothering on here less and less. I wonder why…….

I’ve only been back on a day, and I’m thinking “why bother?” already.

          QED……(look it up)

”Read into that what you will, but there was a reason for it. (I’ve probably got you thinking now.)”

Yes you are right. You have got me thinking….Thinking that you are some sort of Walter Mitty character !! Did you used to work for Shadrack and Sons funeral directors !!

YOU, among others, have killed this website. The decent posters hardly post anymore. The day you came on here, it all went downhill.
I think your monopoly of the board, ripping yarns and annoying air of self-importance has had much more to do with its (grossly exaggerated) death.

Sounds like he was playing away, with somebody from the club’s wife.

Ugly fecker like that wouldn’t even have a chance with the women if he wasn’t earning 40 grand a week.

Personally I hate the Fat, Sweaty Egg chasing Warriors. (thick aswell, forgot to put that)

                Why, exactly?

And judging by some of your own text, punctuation and grammar, be careful how you use the word ‘thick’.

                  I do.

I know people who hate the ‘chubbies’ but when challenged as to why, they can’t give a legitimate answer.

                  Sheep.

What I say IS true though……

I have no idea. I read no further than the first sentence and the first five words of the second. That was enough.

Hi guys. A rare post for me, as most of my time is being spent playing tennis.

                      This will rile some people

                      You’re not kidding.

Not having a go at you Ticslad but I guess by your usermane that you’re a fairly young chap

Not that young, I reckon he’s at least 34.

You mean you went to give the lads your support?

Congratulation, be calling you a regular next.

Heard much cheering or booing out of Wigan this year?

The ones who always spout about great support are always those to be found wanting in the end.

I had a few pints last night and I’m not at my best but I’ve read through this a few times and I don’t think it makes any sense :?

Mark my words, it will take Moreno longer to get his first goal than it took Scotland.

I hope he steps up with the winner on Saturday and I’m proved wrong but I somehow can’t see it.

No ridicule from me. There’s nobody rooted more for Jason Scotland than me. He’s taken a load of stick but he’s never hidden and always put 100% in.

Having said that and when it all boils down, I don’t think he’s a Premiership quality striker but as far as putting in a shift and trying to do the business as far the team’s concerned, he’ll do for me.

I’d start him before Moreno every game.

                                our loss, their gain maybe?

I know he is the best we have but he is hardly the player that defenders fear is he? the latics fans are more likely to think “oh no” when he gets the ball than the opposition.

Nzogbia is better than him !
Have to disagree. I think Rodellega edges it for being a better all round player but can be lazy. Got two feet and can head it, just criminally out of position most of the time.

N’Zogbia’s had some great games this season but is hot and cold and doesn’t scare top defenders quite the same as lesser ones. Except for the 90th minute last Sunday, of course.

i agree and they must be sick as parrots that they missed it my mate with the big head set up the sky+ wrong and did not record it but recorded something on animal planet instead so instead of watching it we did a rematch on the psp pes10 after 13 attempts we won 3-2 after giving arsenal a 2 goal lead the only problem with this was rodellega scored all 3 goals and the winner was set up by micheal brown and gomez had a stormer of a game i enjoyed it though but not as mutch as the real thing obviously :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

                                  Genius :D
