I bet everybody on this board has been on a football pitch at the end of a season, when they were younger and it wasn’t frowned upon. It was a bit premature the other day but nobody ran towards the Hull fans, they ran to celebrate the goal with the players, I’m a bit old for running on the pitch now but I certainly don’t feel that anybody from the other day should be banned.
Let’s take every last ounce of passion out of the game, sit down in our seats quietly, very quietly – infact why not do what others do, watch on sky in our front room, pipe and slippers on.
I didn’t go on the pitch Bath but as you and Landgate both point out, the stewards were given fair warning and didn’t line the East stand, by not doing this, they invited the kids to run on really. As we all know this was the norm every season at Springfield Park, we just live in health and safety mad, politically correct Britain these days. Those kids were merely celebrating us staying in the Premier League, why should they be slapped (I didn’t see them slapping anyone) or banned for the failure of the stewards ?
If she didnt make a move then consider yourself a nothing in her life !! You would have got some vibe if she was interested in you ! But hey you might not have been interested yourself ! ;)Are you saying he’s gay ? :P
My Daughter got Scharner’s autograph on one of his postcards, it just says “thanks 4 all !” I think that’s goodbye, he’s done well but it probably is time to part company, disgrace those booing him when he came on yesterday.
Stalker’s back !
New name, bit of a t1t.
The Captains armband may be offered as an incentive to somebody new coming into the club.
The Vic is the one that’s now Brunells Griff, Harry’s is next to Baa Baa, straight in front of you as you walk up King St. It’s a pub James, the dregs of Wigan are usually found in there, they’re entertaining to watch though.
Brunels..Now that place IS rough!! I know where Baa Baa is.. I was assuming Harrys bar was actually on King St itself…So it is more near Last orders and the train station (well, that side of the road)?
Across the road from the train station is a new chippy, pizza shop next to it, then Harry’s Bar, if you look on the floor in the doorway, I think the tiling says The Clarence as this was it’s former name.

I saw it out of context as I assumed when he said ‘maybe’ a question for Martinez, he meant ‘Maybe’ a question for Martinez because Melchiot ‘Maybe’ leaving. Otherwise it would not need to be a question for him just yet. If that was the case then your post WAS out of context. Can look at it both ways I suppose :)

Blimey mate, as a straw-clutching exercise that’s right up there with the best. You’d make a good politician, talking utter tripe but managing to (almost) make it sound convincing.
Not been in Rochdale recently, calling nice old ladies* bigots have you?
*the nice old lady is the mother of a woman in my team at work. Apropos of nothing
Just had a Labour leaflet through the door as it happens, Yvonne Fovargue is their Makerfield candidate, doesn’t say whereabouts she lives, strange that ! I don’t like the look of her either (not that, that should matter I suppose).
Harry’s Bar is on Wallgate, facing down King St.
Ashton pubs aren’t rough.
Harrys Bar and Last Orders in Wigan, they’re rough.
Vote for an Independant like Bob Brierley, better than spoiling your paper, tells the main parties that we’re sick of them.
All Wigan Councillors were offered a 35% rise, they could have refused as Bob Brierley did, the Labour Councillors all accepted.Just had the Labour leaflet through the door, Yvonne Fovargue is their Makerfield candidate, it doesn’t say where she lives, strange that !
Labour’s leaflet’s are printed in Essex, that helps support local businesses, I don’t think.
Who cares, at least we can sing “star trekkin across the universe……”
Thanks very much chaps, I’m looking forward to a few drinks later on, if you see someone with an I am 38 badge on, the law says you’ve got to buy him a drink !
I will if I see someone out with that badge on. probably wont see you though depending on where you go :)
Not sure where I’ll end up yet, probably Ash Vegas.
