Wembley almost seems like a home fixture with us being lucky enough to go 3 times so close together, could be a while before we go again after the Community Shield though, I’m not flush but I’m going to make the most of it, just in case .
The same FA cup Bob tried to get us knocked out of till we got to Everton in the quarters .
Owens record overall is 41.99 % compared to the loveable Roberto’s 25% , I’m happy to give Coyle a chance on those stats alone, regardless of how impressed I’ve been with his actions so far .
I’m 41 & I’m not bothered when people started supporting us, just that they do through thick and thin from now onwards, I can’t hide my disappointment that Roberto’s left us in a lower league than he found us, I’m just glad he realised his short comings and was able to get usc£1.5 million compo when he should have been sacked, good luck Everton, I think u will need it .
I agree Lostock, no getting away from it, u go on holiday to a good hotel and inevitably compare it to your next one, I didn’t fancy Coyle but I’m fairly happy with most of the business he’s done & with what’s come out his mouth so far .
I’m over it now you’ve semi apologised on the other post, be warned though, I can throw my toys all the way across the room !
Thats as close to an apology as I’m going to get so I will move on, not sure about this latest signing on stats, in fairness though I’ve seen very little of him .
I was undecided but now Lord Griff has spoken, I’ll support Owen Coyle unconditionally & agree that signing a striker who’s gone 90 games out of 111 without scoring is a great piece of business .
I can only assume u have a good cap collection !
Bit strong calling people knobheads when all I’ve said is, his scoring record doesn’t get me very excited, I await your apology griff .
111 career appearances 21 goals, I’ve just pissed with excitement
He may have come back for family reasons but I’m sure he’ll have his sights on getting back in the England set up, Joe Hart being the only stand out No.1
I believe he’s hungry for success
I suppose £5 million’s not that bad for a striker with the worst first touch in professional football, he knows where the net is and can find space but if any opposing player is in a few yards, it’s nailed on to bounce off Kone .
My mate just told me it’s on Twitter not on it myself that we are linked with james perch happy with that kevin doyle happy with that grant holt ok with that and jack collison happy with that if he stays fitThe Perch link sounds very fishy to me .
