I’ll support the club through thick and thin Standish. The players on the pitch represent Wigan Athletic so yes, I was ashamed to say I support them today.
It’s hardly as though today was a one-off though is it Galactic? One win at home since August says it all!
I couldn’t understand the booing when Figgy was taken off though. He’d had a shocker until that point – I’d lost count of the number of times he’d been left for dead off a simple one-two. Taking him off was the only decision Bob got right.
It honestly wouldn’t suprise me if Bob does think Lionel and Franko are seperated at birth.
He’s playing him in midfield aint he? ;)
Won’t make a jot of difference. We could have Wayne Rooney up front and we’d still be absolute shyte.
Can’t really blame Di Santo for being miffed at being told to play on the wing when he looks up and sees the fish upfront. We could still be playing now and he wouldn’t score.
I am also ashamed. I’d go as far as saying today was our worst performance in the Premier League era and it’s clear that the players simply don’t give a toss. Whats it to them if we go down anyway?
Our midfield was so static it was embarassing. Clearly nobody had a clue where they were supposed to be doing-no closing down, no moving into space. It’s ridiculous. What the hell do we do in training during the week?
I can only assume this is a wind up…..
can’t see us getting another two wins this season if I’m honest…..unless you can win nil-nil?!
He’s clearly talented & he’d be a decent squad player at somewhere like Spurs but the fact is he can’t be relied on to do it week in, week out.
He’s still young though. I’d rather hang on to him & see him develop with us.
Loved Hugo’s reaction as well – looked like he was gonna cry!
Bobs got it all wrong. Why didn’t we get Robbie Keane in and pay him 70k a week eh?
Jesus. H. Christ.
With muppets like you on this board its no wonder I haven’t posted for a while.
Did alright after a nightmare first 20 seconds (passed the ball straight to Elmander).
Did well together with G Caldwell who I also thought had an excellent game.
MOM was Watson though. A hugely underrated member of the squad.

Balls. The pitch is the same for both teams (although I agree it is absolutely shot). Do Spurs not like to get the ball down too? They adapted to it better than we did.
Can’t decide if the players are knackered or just uninterested to be honest VAT.
