Take out the penalty and we draw which at the end of the day won’t keep us up.
For the first 30 minutes we were awful. Lobbing balls up to Will Grigg on the half way line with his back to goal is just not good enough.
Again, a couple of excellent balls fizzed across the box and Griggs no were to be seen, in Jan cash in on him before he’s worth fook all. If your gonna do that then stick Davies there and Grigg play off his shoulder.
At 2-1 down Ipswich make 2 attacking changes and the whole game changed, at 2-2 we didn’t.
I’m afraid unless the Jan window throws up one or 2 surprises we’ll be going down faster than Debby does Dallas.

It seems Joyce is already distancing himself from the rest of the coaching staff he was a lone figure on the touch line and because, he’s a coach himself not a manager, you can’t teach your granny to suck eggs comes to mind.

The midfielder for a striker is no more than a 2 fingers up at those sat behind him. I was staggered by his appointment, what we needed was a man management type manager bringing in 1 or 2 backroom staff of his own while he gets on with sorting all the crap out which is a job in itself.

It looks Sharp has gone for something his Grandad never did while in business , 2 for the price of 1.

Replacing forwards with left backs will not keep us up. What he is trying prove God only knows but 3 forwards on the bench is pure bellend tactics. Not for me Joyce

The TV interview was the best for Grandstand or something just before the 1/4’s against Leeds. No one could understand a word he said. If anyone has it post it up

TBH, as long as we see an end to this tedious style we have adopted and play most of the game in the opponents half bringing Will Grigg more into games then maybe whoever gets it will win us over.

Robinson got 20 goals out of him at MK plus 2 against Utd so he knows how to get the best out of the guy.

Grigg is our best hope of staying in this division but he has to be used right

So why has Joyce (doesn’t sound right) never had another managerial post in the UK since saving Hull’s bacon in the mid 90’s ?. I will be shocked it he gets the job considering we’ve just tried a manager with no experience at League level.
I have a sneaky feeling it will be Robinson as Giggs will not want to join a club with such a tight budget and wage restrictions as us. There’s a big difference coaching a team full of young lads with their ears pricked ready to listen and learn then take over a club with ego’s and unhappy players languishing near the bottom and some wanting out in Jan

Warren Joyce odds on FAV ? surely Sharpe ain’t going down the no experiance root again is he ?
Joyce temp managed Hull in the mid 90’s which lead to the great escape from going out the league and a short spell at Antwerp. Now with Utd’s under 21’s I’m sure that’s not enough experience to take over at Wigan.
At 4/7 I think somebody knows something or it’s a diversion for ……….

So we have sacked a manager that had to clear out all the dead wood and start again on a low budget and in league 1 and who was being shouted at for the sack around this time last year.
he then turns it round wins the title in a league that is a graveyard for former premier league clubs and takes the club into a league with clubs spending 50 million on players without batting an eyelid.
He has the expected poor start and struggles to find a rhythm but this is precisely what he did last season so I like a few others thought he will turn it around at some point given his superb track record so far.
He has a narrow defeat at the weekend against a team in second position and one of the promotion favourites and all hell breaks loose on social with crys of sack him and the like.
He was superman a few weeks back but in this new world you have to win every game to be safe and it’s getting worse.
Good luck GC you gave us one of the most memorable seasons EVER watching the mighty tics and for that alone you deserved a bit more time and a bit of patience.
Very bad move in my opinion not that bothered who comes in anymore the game is fecked

All said and done we are not winning, not scoring and don’t look like scoring.

For me it’s got to be Giggs. If there’s one thing he will get is player respect which goes along way in this game plus the odd wonderkid from Man Utd. He will get that needed experience without moving home so he’s primed to hoist Mourinho who seems to be making a mess of things

But I’m in no doubt it will Karl Robinson, there’s no coincidence in Caldwell’s sacking just after Robinson’s plus he’s a free agent. There’s a link there with our 2 players there on loan so I’m pretty sure Sharp’s had plenty of time to talk to the guy and suss him out.

                          Jimmy Bullard at 50/1 ? now there’d a be a good laugh
I see Joe Parkinson is in at 16’s , cheap inhouse option ?

Going to the gym 5 days a week should mean they are ready to go. Biggest load of tosh I’ve heard this fitness melarky comment. If the pre-season training is as intense as they all make out they should be chomping at the bit for the season to start all fit as a fiddle.

And if their not ? when are they ever fit ?,

1)August ;- players are not match fit,. looking sluggish

                              2) November:- some players are still not match fit they need 10-15 games under their belt

                              3) January :- squad needs rotating rest a few hard Christmas period, tired legs showing

                              4) March:- long season the players need a beach

                              5) May:- all the players are totally exhausted nothing left to give

Never once have I ever heard a manager come out and say that his players are fighting fit match fitness levels are at their peak and they are all ready to go.
It’s an easy excuse managers throw in rather than say “Were playing utter sh!t at the moment”

They don’t have enough money to pay what we we’d be asking. Looking at what UK players can command I can’t see him going for less than £5 million. If Dwight Gayle can go for £10 million we could possibly go as high as 15
