And probably get a pan full in League one if given the opportunity and the right formation was played consistently. Alas we couldn’t afford his wages so it is bye bye Wags, good luck and we will see you Knocking them in next season in the SPL and the year after in Europe and hopefully our manager plays some sort of positive game consistently and we can see our strikers scoring for fun too before we offload them for being shit again or sell them off cheap if they do well. A NPL league reunion next week and it will be tough but after a shite pre-season and jittery league starts it is time to start seeing something of the team with a comfortable win. I wouldn’t bet on it though now Gaz is in the Swappenchange mood.
Barnets foul may have indirectly lost us the game but could leaving Grigg on the bench and playing one recognised striker not have had a bigger impact? Also why couldn’t we have started the way we finished last week. That way we may not have gone one down and have been chasing the game. Gary did change things around but the biggest change was the starting line up which is down to him and be is equally at fault as Barnet.
We certainly would not be looking at the sell on price Everton are talking about. We would probably have let him go for 3 or 4 million which is a little out from the 30 to 40 million Everton are talking about.

Their friends and near neighbours ont tuther river up there could beat them to it. Their latest gimmick manager, (the failed at Derby one) doesn’t look like he is up to much again.
There looked like a cracking turnout at Chesterfield. What were the official figures? Anyone know? How many are expected to go to Vale Park?
I suppose when we do shit there are posts out of anger and disappointment but Saturdays win was quite a significant win in a few ways.
1 It showed us that we now have a manager who can make positive changes.
2 We have players who can graft out a win.
3 It halted a pretty bad away run.
4 It went a long way to restore the believing mentality for players and fans alike.
5 It helped cement the new way. The GC way.
6 It was a massive feel good for all fans and I reckon that will show in the turnout in Burslem on Saturday.
