Should be good to watch and let us just hope someone at Latics watches that style of play.
He is the way to a top six position unless he is left flapping around with no support. A proven goal scorer everywhere he has played and looking at him on the ground last Tuesday he looks in fine trim, which is a positive sign from an injured player. We could get into the January window out of him before someone snaps him up for a bargain where he will score for fun.
Nearly eight thousand home fans then. Not too bad. There were times in the greed league when we could only get 12 to 14 thousand home fans on and ticket prices where often cheaper than yesterday for pay on the day customers.
It’s a shame Bolton wanted to off-load the dynamic duo so quickly or we could have done the long term loan thing to check out those two we brought in from Horwich. Thanks Tyldesley for clarifying why we loaned the lads from Everton.
That reply is just so funny but in reality not so funny. If looked at from an equality and diversity angle to pre-judge someone you do not know on a light hearted football forum and question their mental health is at the level of Malky or Whelan’s comments and you should be banned for making comments that are derogartary and could be discriminatory under the discrimination relations act. In reply though thirty five how the hell can I or anyone else be mental for supporting the players at my club and not players from other clubs. Our players should come first. Support your club 35!!!
We should not be giving young lads from Everton or any other frigging club match practice. To spend a month here then piss off back to their own club leaving us the situation of having to bring in players again to gel with the team. Flores played pretty well on Tuesday to be dropped today to make way for loanees on keep fit exercise at our club. Loanees..get shut and play our youngsters who would die for that badge.
We should be OK Roy once pre-season is over and the players have spent some time playing together. Billy McKay is looking sharp.
Player was confused he thought Roberto had a Spanish accent not Scottish.
Playing attacking football. Peppering the oppositions box with crosses. Serving strikers with short and long passes. Cutting out sixteen passes in defence when one clearance will suffice. Positve formations. Positive approach. Midfielders going forward and tracking back to defend. Defenders pushing up wide and overlapping with wingers. Strikers not left out on their own but prepared to track back. Players that tame other players on. Come on thirty years surely we can all remember past the last six. Yes we did have dark times but as fans we all new that even at three nill down we would be going for it and not starting a game with the attitude one point is OK.
We got out of today’s game what Gary put in it. A nil nil draw. Set the stall out with one striker at home is playing for a nil nil draw. Not good enough and not acceptable and definitely not the Wigan Athletic way. Be yourself Gaz and stop trying to copy Bob.
Gary Caldwell cost us the game on Tuesday by replacing Grigg with Fortune oh sorry Bowton Reject!
Hope he is better than the selection of Bart Simpsons we loaned last season.
Well another striker to sit on the bench and watch can’t be bad. That is if he makes the bench.
I heard a rumour that it could have been Graham Parker.A little Byrd told me it was Gram Parsons well I heard it on the Hickory Wind.
That is great news for regulars who do not have season tickets and don’t live local to the ground, are not IT literate and for fans who just choose their matches. Price is ok for supporters too but for the choosey ones it is more than what prices were for some Premier and Championship matches. Doesn’t worry me though but hope Gary doesn’t have a rush of blood again and put Davies on for Grigg.
