The regular contributors on here, with all their differing opinions are very bothered. It isn’t that long ago when everyone thought this was a blip but now it is becoming very serious.
All we can do is rant but no one is listening to us. Why would they? I just wonder how Dave Whelan feels or thinks about what is happening.
Still he could be carrying the Auto Windscreens Trophy (I know its name has changed)around Wembley again next season.With respect Mr Brownbill if we found two new strikers we wouldn’t play them. Doubt he would team up with Dicko. Nobody plays with two up front anymore. Possibly Leicester and Burnley last season. Cant see it catching on though!

It is greed and nothing but greed. It is not just Stevie though the whole football we see today has been swallowed up with greed forcing up wages to crazy levels right through to non league.I would just love a few of these multi millionaire super players say ‘no I have millionaires in the bank, millions of pounds worth of property so now I am going to put something back and not be tempted into just doing something for even more money’.
Look Hereford United just folded for what these men spend on shithouse roll or for just a fraction of what Skys money is worth to the Championship Play Off winners and the majority of this money just goes right through the clubs to players and their parasitic agents. Or are agents not greedy either?Also apparently a little contract worth six million pound is being offered from LA Galaxy. But that couldn’t have had anything to do with his decision could it?
We could do with a winger as good as Teale at the moment. Lee McCulloch would do too. With Ellington and Roberts knocking them in. Question is could they cut it in todays game?
No big surprise really. We shouldn’t be looking at other clubs crowds though but it is allways commented on when Latics get the odd shit crowd. Didn’t hear the press mention it much last season when Latics averaged more than the afore mentioned Promoted Burnley or just fell short on the average crowds of Middlesborough or Birmingham.
Sorry but all I can remember about the lad is his whinging face and him holding the club to ransom each time his contract was due.
Actually I was just pointing out the massive inequalities in the modern game.Just booed for being an x player I suppose and playing for Noblot but Noblot are prepared to pay his wages despite their so called huge debt.(how does that work)
Gerard has been quite a good player. Legend yes to the LFC fans but loyal servant not quite. I seem to remember him a couple of times holding the club to ransom over contracts and threatening to leave if he didn’t get his own way. Justifies one thing that motivates these greedy men is money and more money. A loyal servant who loved his club and City wouldn’t leave it just to add a few more million in the bank, would they? Well I suppose they would. They always have done and allways will do.Greed is the motivator.
